The Awards Available to sponsor Outstanding Contribution to Arts, Media and Culture This award is for those students who have used their skills and enthusiasm for arts, media and culture as an expression of their passion or to communicate ideas or ideals. It could be through organising events, exhibitions, journalism or working with groups within the University or the local community. Whether the medium was film, writing, radio, music, photography, fine art, print journalism, digital or street performance, this award is for students who have used their talents in a positive way. Outstanding Contribution to Global Outlook A celebration of student engagement in international activities to increase their global perspective and awareness. Outstanding Contribution to Lifelong Health and Wellbeing Acknowledgement of the active promotion of health and wellbeing by Newcastle University students. Outstanding Contribution to Sport Appreciation of significant student contribution to sport. Outstanding Contribution to Student Life Recognition of student contribution to enhancing student life through dedication, energy and commitment to inclusivity. Outstanding Contribution to the Student Voice Appreciation of dedication to ensure the student voice is heard, which could be through media channels, representation activities or other methods. Outstanding Contribution to the Community Recognition of positive student impact on their wider community Outstanding Contribution to Entrepreneurship This award is for those students and recent graduates who have demonstrated the passion, vision, creativity and drive required to start-up as an independent professional or to launch their own business. Outstanding Contribution to the Workplace A celebration of the impact that placement students, interns and temporary student staff have on an organisation and the importance of developing relevant work experience skills.

The Northumbrian Water Group Award for Outstanding Contribution to Innovation, Creativity & Enterprise The Siemens Award for Outstanding Contribution to Sustainability and the Environment Recognition for students who have made a positive difference to sustainability or the environment.
