Inclusive design has been our motto for many years. A philosophy aimed at providing a comfortable place in the public space for all individuals, regardless of age, body type and functional ability. The overall objective is of course to bring people together and boost the time spent in places such as healthcare environments, cafés, offices and schools and thereby strengthening the human bond. Working for inclusive togetherness also means that we strive for sustainable solutions. Most of our product range is made of FSC® material (responsible forestry) and is certified according to Möbelfakta. We also offer services such as renovation of upholstery and frames. In this way, we reduce the exploitation of the earth’s resources while at the same time increasing the space for human togetherness and sustainable joy of life.

TWIST Designer Madeleine Nelson The idea for the Twist stool comes from the geometric polygons of mathematics, also called polygons. The pallet has twenty-four sides that create the illusion of a round stool seat. Thanks to the straight sides of the seat, the legs are â&#x20AC;&#x153;lockedâ&#x20AC;? to each other when stacking. The stool can be stacked endlessly and when many stools are stacked on top of each other, a closed and beautiful side is created, reminiscent of older classical columns. Twist was first presented as a prototype at the 2019 Stockholm Furniture Fair. Getting lots of praise for its unique design, we now launch it as part of our regular range.

MAKE INFORMED CHOICES FOR SUSTAINABILITY Sustainability is largely about how, and what we consume. From what we eat and wear to the furniture we buy. All production has, more or less, an impact on the environment and many times it is hard to know which are the best choices to make. For me sustainability is to use natural resources in a circular fashion, not to exhaust them. Sustainability is quality and taking good care of what we have. Sustainability mean fair social conditions for all people. Fortunately this is the vision of NC as well and Iâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;m proud of being a part of this journey towards sustainability. The new Gepetto chair combines playfulness with great functionality, staying true to NC’s hallmark of offering inclusive design. Humorously called the “text-message chair”, Gepetto features eye-catching armrests that provide great support for the elbows. The chair is both stackable and can be hung up on the table. Gepetto also offers excellent comfort.

John is NC’s most exclusive functional easy chair, packed with clever functions and a high level of design. Among other functions it has a stepless reclining back and the handle that adjusts the reclining function is made in an exclusive leather that provides a luxurious feeling. The easy chair also comes with adjustable neck cushion and fold-back armrests that makes it easy to get in and out of the chair. In addition, John has a practical pocket on the outside of one of the armrests for easy storage of a phone, tablet or a book.

FILUREN Designer Jenny Fingal & Eva-Johanna Isestig The furniture family that includes the sofa DU & Jag and Filuren is a modern range in which diversity, norm creativity and sustainability are integral parts. The various family members differ in shape and form but still have a lot in common. They are all non-toxic, playful, tactile, functional and designed based on children’s needs and the reality of the care environment. The family can grow and everyone is invited, but two also make a whole family. Play and imagination are important tools for children when learning and developing new skills. Similarly, physical activity is essential for children’s well-being and to help counteract mental illness. Aware of these facts, Filuren offers fantasy play and physical activity by being a natural part of the interior design in waiting rooms, but works equally well in libraries, preschools or similar public spaces designated for children. In addition to offering a playful seat, Filuren provides room for storage and expresses thereby the great value and importance of play and toys, especially in a sensitive care situation. Here you can store picture books and various small toys. Filuren primarily targets children aged 1-4 years. The furniture is safety tested and stable enough for an adult to sit on or for supporting a small child taking its first steps.The ”textile ears” are made from leftover fabrics from our production of, among other items, DU & Jag.
