North Carolina Association of Pharmacists
What is NCAP?
On January 1, 2000 an historic merger took place when four major associations, representing all pharmacy practice areas, joined together to form NCAP as “One Voice, One Vision” for North Carolina Pharmacy. The North Carolina Association of Pharmacists is your state organization that exists to unite, serve and advance the profession of pharmacy for the benefit of society. Made up of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, students and others with a vested interest in the future of pharmacy in our state, NCAP is a non-profit association governed by a Board of Directors who are elected by membership, and three Practice Forums representing Community Care, Chronic Care and Health-System. NCAP also provides a voice for new practitioners through a New Practitioner Network and works closely with pharmacy schools to engage students as they prepare to enter the profession.
