It’s very different from what I had pictured, you have a lot more a lot more independence on what you want to do and how you want to work around different tasks. It almost feels like you’re already at university, but also there’s more to it than just the academic aspect the college itself is a very aesthetic building and also a lot of extra curricular activities and clubs such as sports are available and are very competitive. The best part of studying at New College was the huge diversity that they have I’ve made friends that are literally from the other side of the planet. Everyone is very supportive and friendly a lot of memories were made even though our time was cut short, Choosing New College Bradford for my A levels was one of the best decisions I have ever made.

Studying at New College is such a different environment, the staff and tutors help you grow as a person, and better yourself even more. The teaching is excellent and I feel fully supported not only by my tutor and current teachers but also those whom do not teach me, and not only in the academic field. I firmly believe that if it was not for the support system and quality of teaching (a strength of the college), I most definitely would not be in the position that I am today, with 5 university offers, one of which being contextual. I have every reason to thank New College Bradford.

I have just finished my A-levels in year 13 and I am going to take a gap year and apply for Dentistry. During my year out, I intend on getting some work experience at dental practices and a part-time job with the help of my tutorial tutor, as an alumna. Furthermore, I am very excited to have a break from studies, to spend more time on my hobbies such as henna and knitting. I am hoping that my gap year will provide me with more experience of working in the real world, which will ultimately prepare me for university!
