the printed portfolio of the design art student and young graphic designer nicolò cunico, from the little city of bolzano with lot of løve.
born in bassano del grappa on the eight of august one thousend andeightyeight. chitecture and interior design, after a year of experience in the advertising world he decided to come back study again and to take his time to enj y life. fontsex is an experimental visual communication project oriented on the destruction of the typography’s accademical rules. by using togheter world famous contrasting font as helvetica and times I tried to give a message of peace and love between different r ces.

workshop with patrik riklin, concept artist, atelier fĂźr sonderaufgaben. intervention of ambulant architecture in the public space.
the aim of the project is obviously to provoke. Is todays church still a credible institution? why does the church still talk about a humil lifestyle but it lives in luxus? another theme is the duality between the religious functions and the biologiacal ones, both rituals. a church is the place of protection, a safe place, always open to peoples needs, as far as needs are concerned, why isn’t there a toilette?

VIVIE NNE WE ST WO OD. Description. product design wup project with kuno prey, scriviritto per un designer: vivenne westwood.
Text. this display - tester is thought for a jewelry collection of vivienne westwood. It is made to crete shock. the jewelry is, as all of this artists works, extravagant and extreme. so they would be out of place if exposed in a normal contest. for this reason the customer is obligated to wear black latex gloves. In the cage the reaction of the scared bird makes that it defecates on the union Jack flag. that’s punk!

Description. visual identity for the project youtopic, vĂśllig utopisch. a collaboration between unibz faculty of design and art and deutchen guggenheim berlin.
Text. a collaboration between an important institution and a group of students on the utopia topic needs that the project had a strong visual identity. the aim of the project was to create an exhibition and the organization of an event. the biggest challenge was to satisfy people of all ages and to represent something that didn’t exist back than.

Description. youtopic, vĂśllig utopisch. a collaboration between unibz faculty of design and art and deutchen guggenheim berlin.
Text. the project was to realize an exhibition in the deutchen guggenheim for the event the lange nacht der museen. after different problems with the collaboration the exhibition was cancelled but was then set in the faculty spaces in the occasion of the exhibition gäste ospiti guest. we crated a luftschloss, air castle, and an office for utopian relationships. interactivity was fundamental for working on this concept. utopia is personal and hard to represent. this experience was really interesting because the group of young designers were able to discuss about different topics like: money, traveling, food, religion and environment. the development of the final concept was suffered and difficult. for this reason it was challenging because of the team work.

Description. mehr netto für alle, politik und kommunication. a visual communication project wich analyze the communication media of the political world.
IL POPOLO DELLA VANITA’
Text. after a research on the political language working on mini-projects, my final project was to create a fake political campaign. i noticed that the italian political language is simple and sometimes banal.
It was more to do with a show language. I decided so to paraphrase the italian party in power at the moment showing the main lines which are very about the aesthetics and very little of the politics.

Description. giovane grafica italiana, a graphic design competition organzied by comune di milano under the coordination of camuffo lab.
Text. the theme of the contest is to tell about your home town, the town you would like to live in and your dream town. the request is to create a booklet of 8 pages A5 format and a poster. In the development of this booklet I tried to explain that it is not necessarily to know only one city, but that it is important to know different cities. this project was priced with a notice from the jury.
