I am Elisabeth Ndala, gallery owner for 4 years after a surprising professional retraining, since passed from the world of energy and big business, to that of art, with the idea to reinvent my life! That's why I have the ambition to practice my profession with originality and Audace!
One evening of stall, surrounded by artists, germinates an idea: to gather works of art representing me. Because yes, in 4 years I inspired a number of painters and photographers ... But that does not seem to be a habit in the profession ... I am a gallery owner, not a model ...
Time passes and the idea germinates nicely, until the end of 2016 or I say to myself "And why not! Why not put me at the service of art, otherwise. I decide to go, like Alice, on the other side of the mirror. "
The project TOTALLY MEGALO is born! Become the muse (of 1.63m) of photographers that I chose for their talent, Then, take back my gallery hat, enriched with the lived experience, to communicate and share it, through an exhibition. Finally, allow everyone to extend it and acquire a trace, by acquiring one of the photos on display.
The organization and planning were very quickly set. During 6 months, I became "Muse" the time of the photo shoots. The rule of the game: accept to enter the strong and singular universe of each of the photographers.

As the project progressed, new challenges emerged: An opportunity to revalorize the work of professional photographers, in particular by restoring the artistic portraiture, in the days of the king self. The experience was more than an artistic project, it was also a true human and introspective adventure: A reflection on the image, affirmation and self-esteem Give yourself permission to say "I" without guilt. Accept to give up your image to a third party Accept the other's gaze on oneself and the critics that go with it. Ask yourself about its comfort zone, the desire and the ability to get out of it ... So, take the pose, without complex, unrestrained, experience the pride, I had the right! "Totally Megalo" was an artistic parenthesis during which I could think, say and express physically the best, keeping track, memory, as a reminder of the greatness that is in me .. So Megalo me? Life is made of chance, happiness, trials and encounters. Of those which mark forever, which make change the course of this long river sometimes calm and sometimes so stormy that is life. It is necessary to know how to perceive all the richness and feel that they are real gifts, offered at the bend of a street, in his country or elsewhere, in broad daylight or in the middle of the night. It does not matter in reality because only counts what one makes of it.
Elisabeth Ndala lived this kind of crucial meeting that changed her life: in 2002, on the island of Gorée in Senegal, she meets the look and the talent of the artist Amdy By Fall and after two hours of conversation, She is convinced that it is with artists that her life will unfold from now on. A manager in the nuclear industry, she continues her journey, but in her head and especially her heart, a small seed is planted. It will take 10 years to grow. In 2010, she chooses to reinvent her life because she knows that her future is elsewhere. This sensation, this feeling felt at Gorée did not vanish on the contrary.
More perennial than ever, they push her to follow a 3rd cycle [...], in conducting cultural projects to become familiar with the world of art. But she knows that she has everything to learn. For this young woman with the eyes of ebony and the port proud, this challenge gives her wings because she has only one desire to follow this path, "this envy that comes from within" as she says. Decidedly, she does not like ease and this new job is not a whim and she proves it by opening in 2012 her first gallery in Bagnolet! Volunteer, passionate, open to the world and others, she wants to prove that art has its place in this urban context too often denigrated. Successful bet !
