WHY WE DO...WHAT WE DO
On September 1, 2019, the islands of Grand Bahama and Abaco were decimated by hurricane Dorian. Through Feed the Hunger we have been able to provide meals for over 3,000 people displaced by the storm. You have not only impacted lives but you have inspired many people to follow your model of compassion toward those in need.
– Pastor Kyle, The Bahamas
Before your support, teachers could not stay here due to lack of salaries. The school also had very few pupils. Now the national examination results have improved and the community is getting some hope since their children are learning and also getting spiritual nourishment. The support is changing the lives of both parents and pupils. – Charles Oloo, Nairobi Language Institute
Food from FtH is a powerful weapon against starvation and malnutrition, and supplements food we provide to pastors on the front line. You are making a difference in Venezuela! A police chief and pastor who works in the most dangerous part of Valencia believes the FtH food is from God.
– Paul L., Venezuela
WHY WE DO...WHAT WE DO
Not only does Feed the Hunger provide nutritional meals, they are also committed to supporting local Christian leaders. It is truly a partnership and not a charity. Feed the Hunger dives into the hard places so that people know they are not forgotten or abandoned, but known and pursued by a loving God.
– Angela, Mission Trip Traveler
My friends never allowed me to read the Bible. But I found my new friend from the Bible. His name is Jesus. Thank you Feed the Hunger for introducing me to my new friend.
– Arham, Pakistan
5 We direct an equine ministry in eastern Kentucky, with 20 kids coming to the barn every week to learn about horses. Many of these kids will not hear the Good News at home and this is the perfect opportunity! We are extremely grateful to Feed the Hunger for sponsoring our Bible study in Ephesians. Thank you for feeding our lambs! – Leah & Drew, Stables at Creekside Glen
