About CE3: The Connectivity, Electricity and Education for Entrepreneurship Project (CE3) seeks a to create a template for economic development in rural areas in Africa, starting with South Africa. The project skillfully combines the provision of solar irrigation to rural farmers and solar power to power value adding with computer training, Wi-Fi access and business incubation for rural farmers and entrepreneurs. The business incubation services and the pairing with mentors ensures that rural farmers have access to top skills to help them start or expand their businesses thereby creating jobs. The project has graduated 180 learners with a basic computer skills since launch in October 2015 and and aims to create 600 jobs by 2017.
