Founded in 19th-century France, the Society of Mary has sent its members to live and work in far corners of the world, where they have brought the good news of God’s grace to an array of cultures. In Michigan, Marist Fathers and Brothers served at Cathedral High School (1951-1956), Notre Dame High School (19542005), Madonna University (1984-2013) and Notre Dame Preparatory School and Marist Academy (since 1994).
BACKGROUND
16 State Championships won in school history: Volleyball (2007,2013); Cheerleading (2014,2015,2016); Girls Skiing (2006); Girl’s Soccer (2016); Boys Golf (2009), and 8 individual (Golf, Track and Field, Cross Country, and Swimming/ Diving)
17 Academic All-State teams in 2015-2016

The lower (grades JK-5), middle (grades 6-8) and upper (grades 9-12) divisions of the school are located on a campus of nearly 100 acres of wooded land in the northeast corner of Pontiac, Michigan. Notre Dame Preparatory School and Marist Academy accepts students of proven ability, from any race or ethnic origin. Although the school serves a predominantly Roman Catholic population, students from other denominations or religious traditions are welcome.
