If you feel that you already have all the information you need and you’re ready to go ahead and register, then please feel free to do so by following the instructions in the ‘Registering with Essens’ section. Otherwise, take some time to look through the information in this guide, which will tell you everything you need to know about this fantastic, flexible opportunity. Once you’ve signed up, this guide will be a useful resource, providing you with most of the information you will need to get your business up and running successfully. But there’s other support too in the form of Facebook groups, shared Dropbox folders and group chat, for example.

About Essens ESSENS is currently one of the most dynamic MLM companies in Europe. It was established in autumn 2011 in the Czech Republic with cooperation professionals in network marketing and leading experts in the areas of development and production of cosmetics and food supplements. At first ESSENS gained its respect and recognition by introducing exclusive, high quality perfumes to the market. The range includes scents which are inspired by big brands that people already know and love, as well as their own unique scents. The international team carefully choose between the most suitable fragrances from one of the world’s leading suppliers of perfume essences. Essens does not sell fakes. You will never see another brand’s logo on our products, only our own. Likewise, we don’t pretend to be anything or anyone else. The packaging for our fragrances is Essens branded and we use our own codes rather than names. The only reason some people might call them “fakes” is because our scents are all inspired by the top perfumes in the world and they smell just the same. We used existing brands and similar essential oils as a starting point, but they are not produced in exactly the same way, they simply smell the same! That’s why they are so popular. But did you know... All our fragrances come from Seluz, the same factory where many premium brands are made. Most, if not all, of the perfumes you already know are made by other companies on their behalf, and Seluz is one such company who has been a leader in their field for decades. The creative perfumery team at Seluz consists of seventeen perfumers. This perfumery team is led by six master perfumers of which there are only fifty in the world! They have in-depth global experience across many product areas. The finished Essens product is something that is actually higher in quality than the inspiration it was based upon. Why? Because of the fragrance concentration. Our ladies and men’s fragrances are all a parfum and contain a minimum of 20% essence compared to most high street brands which only contain 12% to 15% essence. So how come it is so affordable? Essens chooses to use a network of Distributors to sell their products. The money normally spent on celebrity endorsements, models, TV adverts, billboards, expensive bottles and packaging, and retail displays is used to create new fragrances as well as develop new product lines and, most importantly, pay and reward its members. Following its success with fragrances, the company then moved into the area of special nutrition and food supplements were introduced. Since then Essens has launched make up, skin care, home fragrance and home cleaning ranges. All of our products are inspired by the latest world trends and have been created with the aim of achieving premium quality.

Registering with Essens If you are in the UK the link to register on the Essens website is www.essens.co.uk/registration.php NOTE: if you are outside the UK please go the section “Registering from outside the UK” 1.
The first thing you will be asked for is your Sponsor's ID number which is 1010028628.

You now have the option to add a profile picture. Although this is not mandatory it is recommended that you do this as it will help anyone you sign up to recognise that they are on the right page. But don’t worry you can go back and add or change this at a later date.

“Degree” on the form just means your title so, Mr, Mrs, Miss Etc. Complete the form with all your details.
4.
“National Identification Number” can be either your national insurance or passport number.

There is a tick box which says “Commercial Data”. Only tick this if you are setting up a registered company for your Essens business.
6. Make sure the country is set to United Kingdom. 7.
Click REGISTRATION.
8. At the end there are three boxes to tick. You need to tick them all... especially the one that says “make info public”. This is important so your name can be seen on the system when you or your sponsor logs in. This allows your sponsor to see you getting close to the next level of the marketing plan and they can make you aware so you don't miss out on any commission. If you don't tick the box it just shows your ID number and no-one will know who you are. Once you are registered you will see a countdown timer. But don’t panic, you don’t need to place your first order at the same time as you set up your account but you do need to place an order of at least 20 points (2 x 50ml bottles) within 30 days to keep your account active. If you don’t you can set up another account but if you do you will lose anyone that you had recruited beneath you. Once your registration is complete you will receive an email with your personal ID number and a four-digit password, or pin. You should save this information as you will need it to log on to the website to place orders, but also you will need to give your ID number to anyone you introduce to the business. More importantly, you will need your four-digit password, when you wish to log in to your back office to use your commissions against an order or when you wish to withdraw your commissions.
Keeping Your Account Active Once you have set up your account you have 30 days to place an order for a minimum of 20 points to keep your account active for 12 months. To be eligible to receive your commissions you must place an order for a minimum of 20 point each month, although its good practise to get into the habit of placing an order for 100 points each month as this is what you will need to do as you get further up the marketing plan.

Starter Kit Most people start selling only the fragrances and your starter kit is a wallet which includes samples of all the most popular fragrances that the company provide. This is so important to get you started, people want to smell them before they buy and its unlikely you will get much business without one of these. You can order your starter kit as part of your first order and it costs £26 plus delivery. If you live close to your sponsor they will often have a spare starter kit that you can purchase directly from them if you want to get started quicker. Once you get started and you are earning money, and if you can afford to, we always recommend having more than one starter kit so that you can keep one with you and lend the other one out to friends and colleagues to help get you more orders. Try using your profit on your first order to purchase another one. You will see the benefits! Plus, it’s always worth having a spare kit if you have anyone who wants to join your team, so that they can get started straight away. Your sponsor will provide you with a list of Essens codes and the fragrances they are inspired by once you join. While fragrance is where most people start there is a whole range of other products you can sell, including make-up, skincare and home cleaning products and I’ve included an overview of the product range for you to look at later in this guide.

How you earn money with Essens There are three ways that you make money with Essens and this is the same whether you’re selling fragrance or any other products from the range;
Retail profit This is the difference between what you pay for a product, the cost price, and what you sell it for. For example, a 50ml bottle of perfume costs you £14.30 but you sell them at £20, so your retail profit is £5.30 per bottle.
Promotions The company regularly runs promotions to help you make additional income. You will be notified about these in newsletters which you can view in your back office. For example, when you sell larger volumes of perfumes you get some bottles completely free of charge; 8+1
add 9 bottles to your cart, 1 of them will be free.
14+2
add 16 bottles to your cart. 2 of them will be free.
18+3
add 21 bottles to your cart. 3 of them will be free.
You can use these as you wish, whether that be to fulfil an order and increase your retail profit, build up stock for future events or as competition prizes or gifts for people who help you to promote your business. While this promotion is ongoing, there are other promotions from time to time across the product range. Special offers that apply to your order will be highlighted at the checkout when you place an order so you never miss them.
Commission Commission is based on Essens’s marketing plan. Each product in our range has a points value. For example, a single 50ml bottle of fragrance earns you 11 points. As you place orders throughout the month you build up a points total. At the end of each month you earn commission based on your total number of points. The list below shows the % of your total sales (excluding delivery charges and some zero-point products) that you will receive in commission for each level of points achieved. •
100 points = 3%

4000 points = 17%

400 points = 6%

6000 points = 20%

1200 points = 9%

10,000 points = 25%

2400 points = 12%

15000 points = 28%
There are other bonuses and awards you can achieve as you start to build up a team or reach higher points levels within the marketing plan and your sponsor will discuss those with you as you approach them.

Orders & Delivery Placing Orders It is your business and you can order as many times as you like, but we suggest ordering twice a month... around the middle of the month and again around the end of the month. This is for three reasons: 1.
Your customers aren't waiting too long for their products.
2.
You spend less on delivery charges.
3.
It gives you momentum and something to aim towards to keep you focused. And, as you will learn, as you grow, you need to be looking at your business towards the end of the month to see how many points you need to get to the next level of the marketing plan so you earn more commission.
NOTE: We recommend that you always take payment from your customers for their order before you place it. If a customer wants something more quickly than that, you also have the option to give them your eshop link so that they can order directly from there themselves but they will pay for their own delivery.
Deliveries Deliveries are made by DPD and you should receive your orders within 24-48 hours of placing them. Delivery costs are based on the points value of your order, as follows; 0-49 points = £6 50-99 points = £3 100+ points = £0
What if I need to post an order to a customer? Royal Mail will not allow more than 4 bottles of fragrance, each of no more than 150ml, to be posted in the same package. For this reason, it’s generally much easier to give a customer who is not local to you, your eshop link so that they order directly. Their order will be despatched directly to their address.

Product Range As mentioned earlier, while the fragrance range is one of our most popular, there are also a whole host of other products you can sell too.
Fragrance Once you join you will be given a list of the current fragrances we sell, all of which contain 20 per cent essential oils and are therefore classed as a Parfum. As well as the fragrances themselves, we also sell gift sets, body balms, shower gels and body mists. The range includes both ladies and men’s fragrances.
Essens Beauty Our range of long-lasting, premium quality make-up allows you to Indulge in perfect make-up the whole day through. Our correct and conceal palette is perfect to correct uneven skin tones, add shape to your face and conceal dark circles. Follow this with our matte foundation and fix it with our matte powder to create the perfect, longing lasting base. Add a hint of blush to highlight your cheeks then frame your eyes with eyeliner and one of our two mascaras. False Lash to create thick and curved lashes, or Extreme Lash to thicken and lengthen your lashes. Don’t forget to, shape and define your brows with our eyebrow mascara or pencil. And finally, for your lips, define their shape with lipliner then choose from our classic cream lipstick in eighteen shades, a long-lasting matte lipstick in eight shades or our matte lip crayon which comes in ten shades. Finish your look by painting your nails with one of our high gloss polishes in a range of twenty-four on trend colours. All of our cosmetics are paraben-free and have been both dermatologically and ophthalmologically tested. Many of them also contain and SPF to help protect your skin.

Home perfume Our range of four unique fragrances for your home are housed in an elegant aroma diffuser and sure to add a touch of style to any room. Choose from Waterfall, White Flowers, Candy Fruit or Wooden Dream. Our sets, which include 300ml of fragrance, elegant glass diffuser and 6 rattan reeds cover an area of 20m2 for up to 8 weeks. Simply turn the rattan reeds over from time to time.
Colostrum ESSENS body and facial cosmetics containing colostrum, have been created based on the latest research, knowledge and trends within the field of premium cosmetics. Travel From 4th March 2019, Essens members will be able to purchase flight tickets and holiday packages at 30% discount. Using the Essens travel website you will be able to search for holiday destinations and flights and, once you have found the right package for you, simply book using your credit or debit card. Your booking information and tickets will be emailed to you once you’ve paid. Our Essens travel team have English speaking representatives available 24/7 and a team of lawyers who will deal with any compensation issues, should they arise. As with any of our products, members can use their points to pay for flights and holiday and will also earn points on any travel they book through the site.

Support There is an array of support available for you; from information in your back office, group chat, Facebook groups as well as calls and support from you sponsor.
How to advertise the products & your business When you join you will be given a list of our fragrances. It is important that you don’t post this list in sale or swap groups, you can only post it in a closed group. You can post attraction posts about your products then when you get responses by all means send your list to them via messenger or email. You must use the words “Influenced By…” when you compare our perfumes to the designer brands. The reason for this is that we work for Essens, although our essential oils are made in the same factory as the designer brands, we don’t work with those brands so we can’t use their names for copyright purposes. Just like they couldn’t mention Essens. You can sell your products to family and friends, at home parties or events or by attracting customers through social media, or indeed a combination of all the above. You will find a range of example posts and graphics you can use in our Facebook groups and these will help you to get your online business up and running. You MUST NOT sell our products on sites such as Amazon or eBay as we need to adhere to the Direct Selling Code of Ethics.
Can I sell them in a shop or salon? Yes, you can sell them in shops or salons. However, you can’t put any advertising in your window or on the door. You can of course have a sample kit and products inside for customers to see and purchase. Essens is a direct selling company and we have to abide by the Direct Selling Code of Ethics.
