Nokia N97 Mini is a bit smaller than its big brother n97 in terms of size, but the features are comparatively more powerful. The music player of the phone is capable of playing diverse music files such as MP3, WMA, WAV and eAAC+ while the video player plays MP4, Real Video, and WMV files. The 5 mega pixel snapper can click images with 2592x1944 pixels resolution. The other features of the camera include Carl Zeiss optics, dual LED flash, and auto focus. The camera can record video files with VGA at 30fps also. The connectivity aspect is maintained by Bluetooth, WLAN, and EDGE while GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 and HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100 are the network supported by this device. The difference of price between Nokia N97 Mini and its sibling is not that much sufficient. Hence, it is to be seen how this handset fares in the market after its release, which is expected to be around October 2009.
