Mistake #2: Choosing The Wrong Sewing Machine You’ll want to avoid purchasing a machine that’s going to confuse you right off the bat. Beginner sewing machines usually have limited amounts of stitches. However, there are some high quality machines that posses many yet still remain beginner-friendly. A more advanced sewing machine will have embroidery stitches that can be used as well as other means available to program the machine to do specific patterns.
