While talking about this honour, Neetish said that receiving this honour from the Economic Times is really humbling. While he conceptualised the idea, it would not have been possible without the assistance and cooperation of a fantastic team that worked tirelessly to turn his vision into a reality. This honour is shared by all of them. Talking about Neetish Sarda, he is the ingenious founder and CEO of India’s largest agile workspace provider, Smartworks. Neetish Sarda was raised in a business family in Kolkata, West Bengal, where he currently resides. His forefathers were basically from Sujangarh, Rajasthan, and his grandfather, Mr ShiwaLal Sarda, founded a jute business in Calcutta in the 1940s. His father, Mr Ghanshyam Sarda, the world's largest jute producer and proprietor of the vast Sarda Group of Industries leads the Sarda family. Mrs Neen Sarda, his mother, is in charge of the Sarda Group's humanitarian initiatives. When it comes to Neetish Sarda's schooling, he excelled at Purdue, USA's Krannert School of Management. Sarda went to Singapore to finish his studies at the Singapore Institute of Management, where he earned a business degree. Following that, he returned to India with high aspirations. When it came to his working life, he had the opportunity to join his father's large and successful family firm, but he chose to build his own
path instead of following in his father's footsteps. Thus, in April 2016, Neetish Sarda fulfilled his desire by founding his own coworking space company, Smartworks. He investigated, turned, and brought into the fold an unanticipated and unexplored segment of flexible office spaces aimed at enterprises that had previously gone unnoticed. Neetish Sarda is part of a new generation of Indian young leaders who are quaking up the workplace and paving the way for a more varied and fair future for all working professionals. ● He has built a reputation as a resilient, innovative leader and business strategist who has constantly adapted to changing circumstances as a young and successful leader.
