Turf Guard® Wireless Soil Monitoring System Toro® Turf Guard Wireless Soil Monitoring System helps you improve your turf, soil and water efficiency. The Turf Guard system is a revolutionary technology that lets you know what’s going on beneath the surface of your course, so you can make timely, more informed adjustments. Turf Guard uses compact, dual-layer sensors buried under a putting green, fairway or tee box. Installation is quick and easy without any wires or trenches, and golfers never know the sensors are there. Once in the ground, each sensor accurately measures moisture, temperature and salinity levels of your soil at two depths, in real time. That data is then collected and compiled into easy to view and understand tables, graphs and dashboards. This information can then be accessed from any Internet-connected computer. You can even access your sensor information from a Web-enabled cell phone.
Water Management Highlight Know what’s happening in your soil, so that you can make better decisions on how to irrigate and conduct other turf management activities. Don’t guess at how much water to apply for flushing an area, let Turf Guard tell you when enough water has been applied to push the salts out of the root zone. Don’t wonder if you need to irrigate an area tonight, let Turf Guard tell you if the area is in an acceptable moisture level range.
Features & Benefits MONITOR MOISTURE LEVELS AND ADJUST IRRIGATION Reduce water usage and improve playability without risking turf quality. Promote root growth by avoiding over watering. Detect dry areas before it impacts the turf’s health.
TRACK SALT BUILD-UP AND SCHEDULE FLUSHING Take the guesswork out of monitoring and managing salinity levels. Get positive confirmation that your flushing reduced soil salts. Know when and how much water to flush with.
MONITOR DAILY SOIL TEMPERATURES Predict peak soil temperatures early in the day to start remediation activities before an emergency. Schedule fungicide applications and pesticides for optimal effectiveness. Understand evaporation rates and syringing needs.
WIRELESS NETWORK No wires between the repeaters and the sensors, or the sensor and the probes means that sensors can be installed anywhere on the course without disrupting play. Install sensors in greens, fairways, tees and other areas without having to trench or pull wires.

Features & Benefits
30°
TRUJECTORY ADJUSTMENT OF THE MAIN NOZZLE – 24 POSITIONS 7°
From 7° - 30° this patented feature in 1° increments puts water where you want it for maximum distribution uniformity Adjust from the top of the sprinkler in seconds, wet or dry. This flexibility lets you tackle every obstacle on the course; wind, trees, bunkers, mounds and more.
NOZZLE FLEXIBILITY The industries largest selection of precision nozzles from 20’ to 90’ radius applications. From the main-less configurations for short radius applications to 90’ radius requirements we’ve got you covered. A wide assortment of back nozzles lets you water those hard to reach areas directly behind the part circle sprinklers and all nozzles are color coded for easy flow and radius identification and threaded in from the front for ease of servicing.
SPIKE-GUARD SOLENOID With its 20,000 volt lightning rating, the industries highest, the Spike Guard solenoid has virtually eliminated the need for solenoid replacements in high lightning environments. And with half the amperage draw of traditional solenoids you can run twice as many sprinklers simultaneously, reduce the cost of wire during initial installation or increase the distance from controller to sprinkler.
ARC ADJUSTMENT – 40-330° AND TRUE FULL-CIRCLE IN ONE One sprinkler for every location on the course. These unique sprinklers can be a full circle today and part circle tomorrow allowing you to simply and economically adjust the area of coverage to match your seasonal needs or meet water rationing mandates in seconds with no disassembly or additional parts required..
RATCHETING RISER ALLOWS ADJUSTMENT WITH NO DISASSEMBLY Another Toro exclusive, simply pull up the riser and ratchet it to the precise position you want to water. With one sprinkler you can water only the greens today then only the surrounds tomorrow or only the fairways today then only the roughs tomorrow. Adjusted in seconds with no disassembly or additional parts required.

Features & Benefits
25°
DUAL TRAJECTORY ADJUSTMENT OF THE MAIN NOZZLE – 25° OR 15° 15°
The dual trajectory nozzle assembly provides two selections for the main nozzle trajectory; the 25 degree setting provides maximum distance of throw and the 15 degree setting provides improved wind performance, radius reduction and obstacle avoidance.
CONSTANT VELOCITY FULL CIRCLE DRIVE The constant velocity drive and stator system ensure consistent rotation speeds when matched with station run times ensure even water application across the coverage area every time you water.
RADIUS REDUCTION SCREW The radius reduction screw allows for fine tuning the radius to exactly the distance you need. In combination with main nozzle sizing and trajectory adjustment the radius reduction screw can effectively reduce the sprinkler throw down to 30’.

DT34/DT54 Series The DT is Toro’s dual trajectory sprinkler series. With many innovative features, its selectable trajectory provides a 15 or 25 degree setting with a simple turn of the main nozzle. It also offers a constant velocity full circle drive assembly, selectable pilot valve, a removable rock screen and stainless-steel valve seat. Water Management Highlight The dual trajectory main nozzle coupled with the most flexible selection of nozzles available provides exceptional nozzle performance at the 25° standard angle position and great performance in windy applications at the 15° low angle position. And the consistency of the constant velocity full circle drive ensures even water application across the coverage area every time you water.

Features & Benefits
25°
DUAL TRAJECTORY ADJUSTMENT OF THE MAIN NOZZLE—25° or 15° 15°
The dual trajectory nozzle assembly provides two selections for the main nozzle trajectory; the 25 degree setting provides maximum distance of throw and the 15 degree setting provides improved wind performance, radius reduction and obstacle avoidance.
CONSTANT VELOCITY FULL CIRCLE DRIVE The constant velocity drive and stator system ensure consistent rotation speeds when matched with station run times ensure even water application across the coverage area every time you water.
RADIUS REDUCTION SCREW CAPABLE An optional radius reduction screw allows for fine tuning the radius to exactly the distance you need. In combination with main nozzle sizing and trajectory adjustment the radius reduction screw can effectively reduce the sprinkler throw down to 30’
STAINLESS STEEL VALVE SEAT Eliminates body damage from rocks and debris typically seen with plastic body seats. This in-destructible stainless steel seat is molded to the body and has virtually eliminated body replacements due to seat damage saving you time and money. Standard on all DT and 800 Series golf sprinklers.

This patented feature puts water where you want it for maximum distribution uniformity. Adjusts from the top of the sprinkler in seconds, wet or dry, this flexibility lets you adjust the angle of throw and the resulting radius of the sprinkler to meet every challenge on the course.
MULTIMATRX® NOZZLE The MultiMatrx nozzle allows you to select nine different flow settings from the top of the sprinkler wet or dry. And with nine different matched precipitation rate combinations you can dial in the precise flow for the desired arc setting. The flow shut-off features allows you to shut off the water to an individual sprinkler wet or drying. Whether you want to replace a nozzle or just let the area dry out this feature provides a significant labor saving.
GOLF VALVE-IN-HEAD BODY The 720 model is produced in a golf valve in head body that provides the Spike Guard solenoid, individual head control, pressure regulation at the head, and manual ON-OFFAUTO control.
BLOCK SYSTEM BODY The 720G models are produced in a block system style body that requires water supplied from a separate valve and includes a standard rubber cover and check vale and a riser snap ring retention feature that allows riser servicing 720/720G—Apex at 65 psi without digging Nozzle Max. DL2000® Subsurface Drip Irrigation System Toro’s Subsurface Drip Systems provide water where you need it most, directly to the root system. These flexible kits provide everything you need to set up a tee box, bunker system, lake perimeter or anywhere else a low volume subsurface system applies; tubing, fittings, valves, filters, pressure regulators and more. And with pressure compensating emitters with Treflan root inhibitor you are assured of the exact amount of water being precisely applied where you want it for years to come. Water Management Highlight Subsurface irrigation provides water directly to the root zone to ensure maximum utilization, minimizing the waste from evaporation and surface runoff. Emitters are pressure compensating to ensure the same amount of water is distributed from each outlet and with Treflan root inhibitor openings resist clogging to ensure even water distribution.
Features & Benefits PRESSURE COMPENSATING EMITTERS Every emitter is equipped with a pressure compensating device to ensure the optimum operating pressure and precise flow rates are distributed from each point throughout the zone regardless of distance or elevation change.
TREFLAN® ROOT INHIBITOR Each emitter is impregnated with Treflan, a powerful root inhibitor than prevents roots from entering and clogging the emitter opening. This ensures even water distribution uniformity and maximum efficiency from each point of emission.
AIRJECTION The airjection system draws a measured amount of air into the system to deliver oxygen rich water directly to the root zone to promote healthy plant growth.
FLUSH VALVE The flush valve provides a momentary high velocity in the tubing to move debris out of the piping system to eliminate emitter clogging every time the zone is activated.
AIR RELIEF VALVE The air relief valve opens at the end of every watering cycle allowing clean air to enter the system and eliminate emitter clogging from siphoning.

Features & Benefits GEAR-DRIVEN Precision Series Rotating Nozzles utilize a proven planetary gear drive, variable stator and turbine to rotate the nozzle. The entire gear package is contained in the area beneath the fine mesh filter screen. Particles large enough to enter through the filter will exit out of the nozzle plate through the multi-streams.
FOUR MODELS Two male-threaded nozzles and two female-threaded nozzles are all that are required to cover radius range from 14-26 feet and 45-360°.
MATCHED PRECIPITATION RATE OF 0.55”/HR. These nozzles deliver water more slowly and evenly than standard spray nozzles. The precipitation rate of 0.55”/hr helps prevent the need to increase irrigation run time.
CONSISTENT SPEED OF ROTATION The gear drive mechanism delivers a consistent speed of rotation regardless of system pressure and prevents product stalling at low pressure. In addition, it allows for a wider operating pressure range of 20-75 PSI.

Features & Benefits EZ-REG® PRESSURE REGULATING SYSTEM The EZ-Reg pressure regulating system is a standard feature on all 220G valves that provides the most optimum operating pressure to the zone. From the low pressure/flow applications of drip to the high pressure/flow requirements of golf the EZ-Reg can be adjusted from 5-100 PSI to provide the optimum operating pressure for every need.
SPIKE GUARD SOLENOID With its 20,000 volt lightning rating, the industries highest, the Spike Guard solenoid has virtually eliminated the need for solenoid replacements. And with half the amperage draw of traditional solenoids you can run twice as many valves simultaneously, reduce the cost of wire during installation or increase the distance from controller to valve. Backward compatible with all Toro 252 and 216 Series valves the Spike Guard solenoid provides an instant upgrade to any existing Toro system.
INTERNAL MANUAL BLEED The internal manual bleed feature ensures the optimum pressure of the system even when being operated manually.
FABRIC REINFORCED DIAPHRAGM The double beaded fabric reinforced diaphragm provides superior performance and extended life without tearing in the high pressure applications of the golf course industry.
SELF FLUSHING AND SERVICEABLE STAINLESS STEEL FILTER Filtered water controls the on and off function of the 220G series. A 120 mesh stainless steel screen in the flow of water is continually being cleaning any time the valve is in operation. Serviceable from the side of the valve the filter can be easily removed for servicing without further valve disassembly.

P220GS Series (Scrubber) A true dirty water irrigation valve, able to handle chlorine and other chemicals found in reclaimed and other non-potable water systems. Constructed of heavy-duty, glass-filled nylon and EPDM rubber materials, these valves resist clogging and feature a patent-pending active scrubbing mechanism (ACT™ System) to actively fight sand, algae and other particles from blocking the proper metering through the valve. Water Management Highlight With precise pressure regulation the P220GS delivers the optimum pressure and flow requirements to every sprinkler on the zone ensuring maximum uniformity of the water to the turf.
Features & Benefits ACTING CLEANSING TECHNOLOGY (ACT™) Industry’s first active scrubber valve cleans continuously whereas competitive valves only clean on opening and closing.
EZ-REG® PRESSURE REGULATING SYSTEM The EZ-Reg pressure regulating system is a standard feature on all P220GS valves that provides the optimum operating pressure to the zone. From the low pressure/flow applications of drip to the high pressure/flow requirements of golf the EZ-Reg can be adjusted from 5-100 PSI to deliver the optimum pressure for every need.
SPIKE GUARD SOLENOID With its 20,000 volt lightning rating, the industry’s highest, the Spike Guard solenoid has virtually eliminated the need for solenoid replacements in high lightning environments. And with half the amperage draw of traditional solenoids you can run twice as many valves simultaneously, reduce the cost of wire during initial installation or increase the distance from controller to valve.
INTERNAL MANUAL BLEED The internal manual bleed feature ensures the optimum pressure of the system even when being operated manually. Specifying Information—P220GS
FABRIC REINFORCED DIAPHRAGM The double beaded fabric reinforced diaphragm provides superior performance and extended life without tearing in high pressure golf applications. 78
