METHIS My project traces back to the Houseboat Tourism in the state of Kerala a childhood experience that stayed with me closely. The project explores the history of the Kettuvallam (Boat) in Kerala and their passive effect on the environment. The houseboathouse is an attempt to consider the needs of the houseboat tourism market and design a ore sustainable alternative to the existing boat while maintaining the cultural essence of the traditional boat.
