ORGANIZATION
Locally—The core of our practice are those folks actively engaged with our client (Client Engagement Leaders) on a daily, face to face basis. Accountability, ownership, responsiveness, familiarity, etc—all spring from this local client connectivity. These design professionals are actively engaged in projects and the front line people that handle day-to-day project guidance and leadership. Regionally—as a loosely organized platform within Perkins+Will, there are five regions and Regional Practice Leaders that regularly share resources, regional practice knowledge, and collaborate for the client and health system. Nationally—Perkins+Will established a firm-wide healthcare practice council that works to foster communications across the practice, share and distribute expertise across the practice, engage in recruiting the “best and the brightest” regardless of city or region, and to promote the practice on a national level. Our goal—a national practice delivering deep expertise on a local level with a small core team with a singular focus.

Doing MORE With LESS More than ever, providers today recognize the imperative to do “more with less” – compressed revenue streams, an aging workforce, clinician shortages, alignment of space needs with client demands, etc. – all fuel the need for increased efficiency and optimized solutions. Healthcare organizations can benefit from facility design tools that better align their facility strategies with their delivery goals — right-sizing though benchmarking, operational optimization and lean planning. Through Change Management we can maximize departmental performance. These are tools and expertise that Perkins+Will brings to the table.
