Greetings Brethren!

Brethren,

It is March already and it feels like the year is flying by! We Have done a lot already but there is so MUCH more to come! Please keep an eye on the Calendar for everything we have planned and please attend so you can join in on the fun!

If you haven’t been to lodge in a while you are missing out! The lodge has lots of new faces to compliment the many regulars we enjoy and I highly encourage brethren who have not attended for some time to come back and patronize our assembly once again.

A few of the Big events coming up in the next few months will be the Baseball night, Outdoor degree and the Helldorado Parade. Again, Please make yourself a part of the festivities!

As speculative workmen it is incumbent upon each of us to temper the mortar of fellowship. This can be done in many ways but each and every one of you is earnestly enjoined to stop by for a meal and perhaps a bit of business or ritual. It is that simple. Whether it has been days, weeks, months or years we would love to see you again. We are not asking you to re-commit to being a full-time Brother, or take on some responsibility. All we are asking is for you to share a little bit of your time and fellowship with us. Hopefully we will see you soon.

Id like to take a quick moment to thank the Past Masters for already helping me out so much this year. My Officers for stepping up to the plate when needed and doing a great job! Last but not least W. Bro. Jim Greely our Secretary. I cannot express how much you mean to me and the Lodge. Brethren when you see W. Bro. Jim shake his hand and give him a pat on the back because without him the Lodge could not and would not function. Thank you W. Brother James T. Greely. On the Square

e have seen a great start for the new year in the South. Usually we enjoy our meals early while there is an amount of work

going on in the background getting the lodge room ready, greeting visitors and just general business. There is a limited amount of fellowship that can occur for these reasons. It seems we may have pulled a rabbit out of the hat with the George Washington celebration this year. We had difficulty finding cherry pie that was already prepared, so we had to buy the frozen kind that requires cooking. The preparation time was so long that we had no time to prepare desert to be ready after the meal and had to wait to serve it until after the meeting was over. Well, the cherry pie and vanilla ice cream prevailed with a late night debriefing as our stated communication ended, and as it turns out, many of us were able to take a bit of time to relax and enjoy some time and fellowship with their brothers. It was so good and pleasant that some in the room commented ..."why do we not do this more often"... .

On the Level,

So, there is only one good answer. OK we will... .

Dennis Tyson

Thus, and by popular demand, until further notice and budget permitting, we will prepare desert to be ready after meetings. If any brother has a meal suggestion or wishes to prepare/ furnish food or supplies please contact any line officer. Thanks to Brother Jim Dorf for providing needed good and

Bro. Miguel Zavala W.M.

supplies for the meetings. It is welcome and we are thankful. Oh, yeah, and don't forget to be good Masons. By the plumb Travis Lindsey
