MASTER GARDENER MONTHLY
The Master Gardeners will meet on December 20th at 6:30pm.
We will meet for our Christmas dinner at the Wickland estate located at 550 Bloomfield Road, Bardstown KY.
Ham and smoked turkey will be the main dishes, please bring a side and a guest for the evenings festivities. We will gather at 6:30 and plan to eat by 7:00. Please call the office (348-9204) to RSVP.

Treasurer Report
The Kentucky Home Master Gardeners have a beginning balance of $26,576.39 in the Town and Country checking account. For the month of November 2022, there was no expenditures Therefore, the ending balance as of 11-27-22 was $26,519.44.
Active Committees:
Library Garden Committee: Has met and begun cleanup.
Membership Booklet Committee: Ideas are being generated and a prototype is being developed.
Plant Sale: Ruth Ann Seward, Freida Bayliss, and Donna Paschal are the chairs.
Audit Committee: The Audit Committee has met and completed their work on the books as they pass to a new treasurer.
Budget Committee: Is looking for volunteers, contact Bill Fell for information.

KENTUCKY HOME EXTENSION MASTER GARDENERS
MINUTES OF MEETING OF 11-15-2022
Following a pot luck dinner, Nathan Strange, Arboretum Manager, Bernheim Forest, presented a program regarding the plantings and plans for the Center. There are 16,400 acres of land and a 600 acre arboretum.
Minutes were approved with the change of the spelling of Louis to Lois.
Treasurer’s report was approved.
Under Old Business it was announced that Ruth Ann Seward has reviewed the flyer regarding the Garden Tour and made corrections and changes.
New Business
It was decided to have our Christmas party at Wickland at 6:30, pot luck, Tuesday December 20.
The Nominating Committee gave its report. Teresa Roche has agreed to be nominated as Vice-President. Other officers have agreed to serve again. Voting will be at the Christmas party.
In his Agent Report, Robbie Smith noted that things were welcomingly quieter. He attended training on agricultural fencing. The International MG meeting will be in Kansas this summer. We are seeing smut on turf with drying off, usually what is seen in spring.
