music and entertainment for all ages from the 29th of July! And for the first time ever, it will be hosted on the stunning and historic grounds of Burnhopeside Hall. The World Heritage site is located 6.5 miles west of Durham City, was the home of the famous engineer William Hedley. A working model of his “Puffing Billy” railway engine is at Beamish Museum (5 miles North). The Country House provides a beautiful setting for a peaceful festival vibe and is surrounded by 18 acres of gardens and woodland stretched over 475 acres. Founded in 2018 by Tristan Raine, Scoop Music Festival aims to celebrate outstanding regional talent in an area of outstanding local beauty. Focusing on sup-
porting established and emerging talent, the festival wants to provide a platform for artists as the music industry finally starts to get back on its feet after a couple of years of cancellations due to COVID-19.
