Nepal Scouts Secured WOSM Quality Standard

The GSAT is a comprehensive evaluation process developed by WOSM to assess the quality and effectiveness of scouting organizations worldwide. It encompasses various dimensions, including governance, program quality, membership development, and financial management. By undergoing this rigorous assessment, the Nepal Scouts have demonstrated the commitment to maintaining and enhancing the quality of scouting in their country.

Nepal Scouts underwent an extensive evaluation process from 30 June to 1st July 2023, which involved detailed assessments, interviews, and analysis of their programs, activities, and organizational structure. The assessment team from WOSM evaluated the Nepal Scouts against the predefined criteria and found them to be in full compliance with the WOSM Quality Standard.

The achievement highlights the Nepal Scouts' dedication to maintaining high standards of leadership, management, and youth development. It also reinforces the commitment to providing opportunities for young people to participate in transformative scouting experiences that help shape their character and contribute to their personal growth.

Upon successfully completing the GSAT, the Nepal Scouts have joined a select group of scouting organizations worldwide that have achieved theWOSMQuality Standard. ThisrecognitionnotonlybringshonortotheNepalScoutsbut also serves as an inspiration for other scouting organizations in the region and beyond.

The Nepal Scouts can now proudly display the WOSM Quality Standard logo, which signifies their commitment to excellence and the ability to deliver quality scouting programs and experiences.
