This year we bring you the cream of the crop of international acts as well as an array of side shows and attractions to guarantee gut-busting laughs and a truly magical experience for all ages. The weekend long event will see the park transformed into a playground for all the family and shall spill out beyond the park for all to get involved. With Big Tops galore, barns and outdoor music stages there is something for all ages, shapes, sizes and levels of silliness. The Carnivale of Colours has been ever evolving from its humble beginnings - this is down to your support and the support of our partners and funders. Together we have united thousands of people through laughter... Not bad for a 6 year old... Ehh? So, what have we got this year? Mmm? We’re glad you asked *Cue drum roll*... The Serious Road Trip, Tumble Circus, Jonathan Burns: Flexible Comedy, Granny Turismo, Ridiculusmus, The Travelling Obo, Local performers galore, Stiltwalkers, Live Music, Storytelling, Drum Circle, Crafts workshops, Mini Golf, Balloon Modellers and Facepainters as well as an array of International foods to tempt the grumbliest bellies!

For the first time, the Carnivale of Colours will be journeying beyond the Park. Local and International characters will be venturing through Ebrington Square, across the Peace Bridge and into Guildhall Square to entertain the masses. See if you can spot them across the City and follow them if you dare!
With a heady mix of buffoonery and circus skills, The Serious Road Trip will take you on a journey not to be missed. With three shows which are coming to Northern Ireland for the first time, this group of clowns will have you on the edge of your seat and wanting to join
the ride. From Romania to Albania they have travelled the world bringing joy and laughter to everyone they meet and guess what? They are returning to The Carnivale of Colours to do just that. Are you ready for a rib tickling?

Jonathan Burns always thought he was “special”. He was the kind of kid who would put his leg over his head at the family reunion or perform musical armpit farts to impress the girls. In 2004, contorting his body and impressing people with his unusual talents became his full-time job. Since then he has performed at over 200 colleges & universities, at festivals across the

US, Canada, China, Ireland, & New Zealand, and was recently featured on the Jay Leno Show, the Late Show with David Letterman, and Saturday Night with Miriam. When he’s not performing he can usually be found in an airport terminal or spending time with his lovely wife (I guess the armpit farts worked!) and their new baby.

They are back! Following last year’s visit they have returned... and we are so excited! They’re on the road to nowhere... But they promise to be back for teatime! When Doris, Mary and Marge arrive on their pimped-up shopping trolleys with their pumping tunes, everyone takes notice.

Big Top Tales from Never Never But Sometimes Land is a journey through the land of Circus before time existed. A wizady mix of skills and storytelling presented by the talented kids of the North West Circus School, these wee clowns have been perfecting their skills throughout the year at the Waterside Theatre. This spectacular Big Top show is the finale to their achievements and will have audiences young and old mesmorised by their skills. We invite you to join them in their quest?

Mr H, an excitable bundle of confused identity, and his friend Mr Chatterjee, attempt to explain the meaning of life. They invite you to partake of an afternoon of philosophical discussion, governed only by one law “what can go wrong will go wrong”.

PLEASE NOTE: THE CARNIVALE OF COLOURS WILL OPEN AT 2PM ON SUNDAY TO FACILITATE ROAD CLOSURES WHICH WILL BE IN PLACE AS A RESULT OF THE WALLED CITY MARATHON. THE PEACE BRIDGE AND CLOSED ROADS WILL REOPEN AT APPROXIMATELY 2PM. DRIVERS ARE ADVISED TO AVOID THE LIMIVADY ROAD UNTIL 2PM. The Walled City Marathon will be taking over the streets on Sunday 2nd June. Make sure you get out to cheer the guys on and then go Carney in the Park.for
Parking Those attending the festival are advised to use Victoria Market Car Park, Foyle St Car Park or The Old Waterside Health Centre Car Park on Glendermott Road. All these facilities are within a 5 minute walk from the site.
Other things you need to know: Over 90% of car owners admit to singing behind the wheel. The other 10% are liars. The king of hearts is the only king without a moustache on a standard playing card! The longest recorded flight of a chicken is 13 seconds! The only 15 letter word that can be spelled without repeating a letter is “uncopyrightable”! WE HAVE THE BEST VOLUNTEERS IN THE WORLD! FACT.
