Woman - 2- Woman Agenda W.O.W. STAIRCASE Staircase Lesson #1: “Approachable”: The W.O.W. Staircase is a 30-step program to becoming more Christlike. The staircase lessons are based on the book “A Woman Who Reflects the Heart of JESUS” by Elizabeth George. Each month we will examine the life of Jesus by exploring in depth thirty incredible character qualities our Savior displayed. After each lesson you will receive a Jesus Model Certificate that you can add to your Jesus Christ (JC) Model portfolio. To help further support your certification you will receive an accountability worksheet to complete throughout the coming month that will bare witness to your faithfulness in striving to model Godlike behavior. Your goal should be to grow in God’s spirit as a JC Model that lives a life reflecting JESUS! For more details and to participate in climbing the staircase, join us on the 3rd Monday of each month. A special surprise and tribute awaits those that complete all of the lessons. FAITHBOOK SHARING What have you been believing God for? What is your God story? What’s real for you? Do you have a scripture or passage that God has laid on your heart lately? WHAT IS FAITHBOOKing? Journalizing your walk with Christ Remembering Scripture Documenting and sharing your faith Witnessing for Christ A visual expression of your personal testimony WHY FAITHBOOK? Faithbooking allows you to express a deeper experience of your spiritual journey with God. It is a way to honor and highlight a collaboration of scriptures, songs, poems, prayers, blessings, growth, faithfulness and forgiveness experienced along your Christian journey. WHAT DO I GET OUT OF FAITHBOOKing? As you discern and then creatively express the truth of your faith journey on paper your heart will become increasingly open and your spiritual growth will become more solid. WHAT MATERIALS ARE NEEDED TO PARTICIPATE? A journal or scrapbook to use to specifically document your faith journey WHEN WILL IT BE SHARED? During our monthly meetings we will use FAITHBOOKing as a way for women to openly share details of their personal faith walk. Join us on Monday to see how God has be moving in the life of others! W.O.W. FUNDRAISING On August 30, 2012, W.O.W. will be hosting our first Chick-fil-A Night at the Wheatland location to help raise funds for Women’s Conference 2012. At the meeting we will discuss how the fundraiser will work, what the funds will be used for and how you can help in making this effort a success for the ministry.
WOMEN’S CELEBRATION WEEKEND 2012 Registration is now open… This year’s Women’s Celebration Weekend “I AM Because God Is” promises to be three miraculous days of empowerment, enlightenment and exploration where women from all over will gather together to share in a “Seeing me as God sees me” experience.
