I have a product that I spent most of last year developing and creating. It is a digital product that includes video, audio, ebooks and some software. I’ve been looking around and wanted to know your advice on what you think the best affiliate programs are? - Gemma. Hi Gemma, for digital products, you can’t go past Clickbank or Commission Junction. They are some of the oldest and inherently get the most affiliates. You could in theory install your own software but this would make the task of attracting affiliates that much harder. --Joe.

How can I make my ebook go viral? I have an ebook that I want to promote and make viral. Is this possible? - Terry. Content is king Terry. If you have a good topic, new fresh ideas, the ebook will go viral on it’s own. Of course you can help things along by releasing a free bonus chapter with links back to the full-priced product. Letting affiliates brand this bonus would also aid your quest. -Joe >>Email Us: joe@NetBusinessMagazine.com

7 What are going to be the hottest selling items in 2012? I am revamping my entire online business in 2012. I had some old sites that were making some affiliate sales, but these seem to have dropped off. This year I am changing my strategy to start creating my own products. Can you tell me what are going to be the hottest selling items in 2012? - Norma. Hi Norma, just one moment, I’ll grab my crystal ball. ;) Luckily I don’t actually need that. Some niches are evergreen and always in demand. Take a look at health and fitness (especially in the new year), making money online, dating and romance, saving money, resumes and careers. Have a look at the hottest selling products in a marketplace like Amazon or Clickbank. -Joe.

nbm news Search Engine Optimization Consultant Well actually it was very easy. To be candid, it was a breeze actually because I used some very sophisticated but easy to use software celled SEO Nuke X that even allows spinning like no other spinner I’ve ever used, but in addition, it creates the articles for you according to your keywords you’ve selected.. Now I don’t have the time to explain the details but I will tell you that this program is amazing. It covers all the SEO bases that you may never have heard of needless to say have ever used. If you don’t know anything about SEO then you ought to give this a try, it’s what I used and will continue to use in the future but let me stop and tell you something else that you won’t believe until you experience it. When I needed information on this or that I submitted a ticket-something I absolutely hate because by the time you receive a reply you’ve forgotten what it is that you needed an answer forand they replied within 15 minutes and sometimes within 5 minutes… Yes they responded within less than 15 minutes. What service. Oh yea, one more thing they constantly monitor the changes in article directories, RSS feeds, bookmarking sites and more and put out updates daily and sometimes twice a day. I was totally blown away. I’ve never had service on the Internet come even close to this! How about you?

Clickbank Affiliate Marketing Software ClickbankAffiliate marketing has been the main stay of online marketing for many years. Perhaps you’re an online marketer and you understand what I’m saying. If so you’ve come to realize that it’s a jungle out there, and the phrase, dog eat dog certainly applies here. ClickBank Affiliate Marketing Software: A Scam? My Review is simple. But let me be specific and say that there seems to be light at the end of the tunnel. For the most part ClickBank has been the mainstay for promoting downloadable products (products such as eBooks, software etc). The potential for profit however, has dwindled in the past year. This could be due to increased competition as well as the lack of proper preparation and marketing savvy. One of the prevalent factors I’ve identified is what I call the guru hold. The guys with the biggest lists are the ones privy to product pre-launches. This small elite group is given the luxury of promoting the product before anyone else thus taking the largest market share leaving the small guy with the scraps. But this issue can be circumvented and if you’re skeptical at this point that’s ok, I would be too. Let me add that you should be. I’m sure you’ve heard that automation is the key to doing business online. While this is true, it’s not the end all of affiliate marketing because there is more to promoting a products than just buying software. Purchasing any software won’t make it happen unless you research your product and how the software can fill your specific needs. There is and never has been software that will do everything for you without monitoring and tweaking. If you’ve fallen prey to the slimy gurus that sell you the latest and the greatest solutions that NEVER deliver results you’ll be glad to learn that there is hope. Perhaps you are not aware that many of the affiliate marketing tasks can be automated. For example lead generation means that it takes time and ingenuity to generate new prospects. Here’s where automation takes over and saves hours upon hours of time.

E-book Revolution By Emannuel Kigen

You are no doubt aware that there is a revolution taking place in the world of e-books. E-book readers such as the Amazon Kindle, the Barnes and Noble Nook, Kobo and of course Apple's platform, the ibook app, amongst many others are fuelling an insatiable appetite for content. Since the launch of the Amazon Kindle with its ink screen technology, there has been a huge increase in the number of e-books purchased. Amazon announced in May 2011 that e-book sales had outstripped printed books. Amazon said that the pace of U.S. book sales in 2011 was the fastest the company has seen in more than a decade. Amazon triggered a snowball effect in terms of e-book popularity with the launch of the Kindle in 2007 which allows people to buy and download e-books on demand from the Kindle marketplace, read them in any location and share this content on other devices. Amazon is the ideal marketing machine to publish onto, purely based on its size and infrastructure of 275 million registered buyers. They will market your content for you, offering it to buyers with similar items and email the purchasers of your content every time you add new e-books, guides and reports. For Internet Marketers this provides a massive opportunity to get content in front of the eyes of millions of potential prospects.

You can offer information on specific niches by bundling up your content as an ebook or even publish your blog as an ebook. With e-publishing anyone can publish their content providing it meets certain guidelines. You could also create a free version of your book that can act as a lead generator for related products or services. In fact, building a back-end platform that offers higher ticket items is the smart approach if you want to increase your income even further. The Kindle Direct Publishing platform also now enables you to opt-in your content to their Select program, which has a $6 million pot that you can earn from even when you lend out your content to readers. The Apple family of devices such as the iPad, iPhone, iPod and Apple computers also offer huge opportunities for your content. Other platforms shouldn't be ignored. The Barnes and Noble Nook platform reaches 35% of e-book readers in the US and the Sony e-reader and Kobo offer an alternative marketplace. Your content can also be turned into physical books via publish on demand, without the need for printed heaps of copies. Services such as Lulu.com, Fastpencil.com and Createspace.com offer a premium method of direct publishing that gives you great flexibility and a chance to show off your expertise that your grandma would be proud of. Now is the perfect time to join the ebook revolution!

nbm success story Marion Gold: Turning a Jewelry Design Hobby into a Business Detours in life sometimes present new opportunities. After the death of her parents, Marion Gold dabbled in jewelry design, which was a passion of her mother. A writer, marketing consultant and a published author, Marion never thought of becoming a jewelry designer. Working on the beads to create gorgeous jewelries was her way of coping with the grief, and celebrating the life of her parents. She initially thought that jewelry design will just be her hobby. But the jewelries she created proved to be sellable, and that opened her mind to turn it into a business. She launched Moonbeams, Lilacs & Roses http://www.moonbeamsdesignerjewelry.com. We talked with Marion about how she started her jewelry design business, and the challenges she’s currently facing. What inspired you to start designing jewelries? Life is a journey that takes us down many paths, both professionally and personally. It was personal loss that led me to launch Moonbeams, Lilacs & Roses and a jewelry design business. I’m a writer and marketing consultant by trade, operating a home-based business since 1994. When my Mother passed away in September 2002, just two years following my Father’s death, I found it very hard to write. In fact, I wasn’t interested in taking on any new client projects. Mom was a talented artist as well as a homemaker. As I looked through her craft supplies and other treasures, I came across a boxof vintage jewelry and loose beads. I literally fixated on the beads – the colors and different shapes and textures. Looking through books on the history of beading, and reading craft magazines, helped me deal with the grief, and feel closer to Mom. When I found a resource for making beaded pens, it struck a cord, as Dad collected ballpoint pens. Not the expensive kind – just pens given out by banks, restaurants, shops… I used to tease him about never throwing out a ballpoint pen – and he didn’t. In our home, I also found shoe boxes filled with old ballpoint pens! Maybe it was fate, and maybe my entrepreneurial spirit returning, but I began crafting beaded pens, and then letter openers. I thought it would be a hobby. But in 2003, with some prodding from my soul mate, I showed a couple of the products to the owner of a local art gallery and gift shop. Would she consider carrying a couple of pens in her shop? Imagine my delight when a week later, “ChiaroScuro,” a popular boutique on Chicago’s trendy North Michigan Avenue, was displaying my products. So here I was at the age of 58, suddenly starting an entirely new home-based business – this time, one inspired by my parents. In addition to having an in-store presence, I also opened an online portal to Moonbeams, Lilacs & Roses (http://www.moonbeamsproducts.com), where I began selling directly to the public.

I’m concentrating on maintaining my current marketing activities, staying flexible, and keeping a growing list of “wants” and “needs” for future jewelry business.

13

I had decided to use the Artisan name, Miriam Bat-Rachel: Miriam, my Hebrew name. Bat, which is Hebrew for “daughter of,” and Rachel, my mother’s Hebrew name. Thecompany name is also derived from personal experience and ancestral history. “Moonbeams” is from “Rosh Hodesh,” a Hebrew symbol of renewal, celebrated at each new moon. It is a powerful opportunity to consider our lives, our commitments, and our goals. “Lilacs” were my mother’s birth flower and treasured scent, and “Roses” were a favorite flower – and one of the first flowering bushes my parents planted in front of their first home, where they lived for more than 50 years. As my business and vision grew, I began to design semiprecious gemstone jewelry. When the gift shop at the Spertus Institute of Jewish Studies purchased several necklaces and earrings, it added an entirely new dimension to the business, and I added Moonbeams Designer Jewelry (http://www.moonbeamsdesignerjewelry.com ) to my online shop. How do you describe your jewelries? Classic, stylish, and elegant. I want the women who buy and wear my jewelry to feel special, to know that the design is unique, and that I’ve crafted each piece to bring out the very best characteristics of the natural stones I use. What were the challenges you faced when starting your business? Balancing my time and energy between the three diverse areas of my business: Brittany Publications, Ltd. (a traditional publishing company); Marion Gold Communications (the Editorial Services & Marketing division); and Moonbeams, Lilacs & Roses, (the Creative Arts division). Where can customers get your jewelries? Online at http://www.moonbeamsdesignerjewelry.com; in Downtown Scottsdale, Arizona at Local Talent AZ (7050 E. 5th Avenue), and in Downtown Chicago, Illinois at ChiaroScuro (Water Tower Place, second level, 875 N. Michigan Avenue). What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned as anentrepreneur? Price all services and products in a manner that shows you value your talent and time. Budget your time carefully between creativity, production, and managing the business – and leave time for networking, marketing, and direct sales.

How has the economic downturn affected your business? What strategies are you using to survive these tough economic times? Jewelry and beaded accessories are luxury items, so there is a definite downturn in both online and retail sales, both from individuals and corporations. Likewise, my custom jewelry clients are more modest in their purchases. I’m happy to say, however, that the past month has shown a bit of an upturn. I’m holding off on some purchases, such as jewelry management software, and buying a new laptop. I also had to cut back on technical outsourcing for website management. I’ve always taken the photos for the site, but now I manage more technical website functions, rather than outsourcing. As I get busier, and business gets better – that will not be an efficient use of my time, so I will start outsourcing again. How are you marketing your business? I write articles about my various businesses, and give marketing workshops that generate sales of my books as well as my jewelry (which I always wear!). I also participate in as many networking functions as time pemits, but very selectively. Networking events are always followed up with email contact – which has generated a nice list of contacts, personally and professionally. I’ve met wonderful businesswomen in a variety of professions, and formed many friendships. Cold calls are another tool I use. I always carry a few pens and wear my jewelry. So if I see a shop that fits into my marketing plan, I walk in. If there are no customers, I take a moment to introduce myself to the shop owner – and try to set up an appointment for a formal sales call. I respect the owner’s time, and never try to engage them in conversation when there are customers around. Other times, I don’t sell at all, but try to get a sense for the customer base, the other products in the shop, pricing, etc., take a business card, and do a follow-up phone call for an appointment.

Do you use social media such as Facebook and/or Twitter?

14

I’m very active on LinkedIn, and far less active on Facebook and Twitter. I’m not yet convinced of the benefits to the latter, but LinkedIn has been a very positive experience. It provides opportunities to share my marketing and communications expertise, and to learn from others’ practical experiences. Is this a home-based business? If so, what are the challenges of working and running a business from home? When I began working from home in 1994, I missed the personal interaction that goes along with an office environment. But my networking activities and cold calling quickly satisfied that need. As for challenges – in a word, SPACE. Running both a communications and jewelry design business requires lots of shelving, closets, and desktop space. I’m afraid that challenge has yet to be met as well as I would like. Time management is another. If I don’t keep monthly, weekly, and daily to-do lists – I would probably spend all my time making jewelry and shopping for interesting gemstones!

How are you balancing your personal life and family with the demands of your business? I mentioned the encouragement I get from my Soul Mate. Jerry is an accomplished writer and marketing professional, so we have a mutual respect for each other’s time and space -and always start each day with breakfast together. Friendships are important to me, so I make sure to arrange one or two “personal” coffee-meets or luncheons every month with local friends. I also try to keep up with family and long-distance pals. While telephone time is harder to manage, I keep track of who I’ve called and when, so not too much time goes by without contact – and I always make time for quick emails. What are your goals for your business? How do you see the business five years from now? While some people might disagree, I’m not looking at a formal five-year plan for Moonbeams right now. With retail businesses so down, and the sense that it will remain unpredictable for the next few years, I’m concentrating on maintaining my current marketing activities, staying flexible, and keeping a growing list of “wants” and “needs” for future jewelry business. I’ll reassess the situation in January, depending on how the holiday season goes. I have increased marketing my editorial services and marketing consulting business, as there are so many people right now who need that type of help.

What tips can you share to other women entrepreneurs? In my book, “Personal Publicity Planner: A Guide to Marketing YOU,” I stress that we don’t live in a vacuum. By understanding how others see you, as well as how you see yourself, entrepreneurs can begin to take control and create a more honest and satisfying professional showcase that will move their careers forward. What are your strengths? What are your weaknesses? What is it you want people to know about you and your skills or talents? How does that relate to your company, your product, or your services? It also helps to take a critical look at any previous communications efforts you have made, and the results. Then look closely at your achievements and skills, and how they can be distinguished from other similar professionals in the marketplace. That’s how to get started!

Did you know:

When was the first mouse introduced?

Find a topic that you love and can stay interested in, and which is capable of being monetized. That's the hard part--not all topics will produce good income.

The first computer mouse was introduced in 1968 by Douglas Engelbart at the Fall Joint Computer Expo in San Francisco.

nbm ask the expert PowerHomeBiz.com: You created your first web site in 1996 with Writing.org. Then you added a host of European travel websites (EuropeforVisitors.com; VeniceforVisitors.com; SwitzerlandforVisitors.com; AustriaforVisitors.com; and The Baby Boomer's Venice). What were your inspirations for creating each site? Durant Imboden: I started work on Writing.org late in 1995, when I was under contract to Microsoft as manager of MSN's Writing Forum. I'd been using the Web for a few years, and I thought a writing-related Web site might help to generate interest in my MSN forum. The Baby Boomer's Venice was my first travel site. I created it on the spur of the moment in 1996 as a test bed for a review of FrontPage 1.1 in Boardwatch Magazine, which at that time was a magazine for online entrepreneurs and users. The site was listed in Yahoo and several guidebooks, and it's still around--although nowadays it's mainly a feeder to my newer and much larger Venice for Visitors site. I created Venice for Visitors at The Mining Company, which later became About.com, in spring of 1997. My wife's Switzerland for Visitors--later Switzerland/Austria for Visitors-began at roughly the same time, and I expanded my beat to include all of Western Europe in 1998.. Our contracts were terminated in September, 2001 after I'd raised questions about About.com's accounting practices and other contract issues. (Those contract issues are now the subject of a major class-action lawsuit, Levinson et al. v. Primedia et al.) My wife and I owned the copyright to nearly all of our About.com content, so we relaunched the sites under the Europeforvisitors.com umbrella in October, 2001. They've been flourishing and growing ever since. PowerHomeBiz.com: What were your expectations when you started any of your sites? Were your sites simply a venue to present, discuss and perhaps find like-minded enthusiasts on the subjects that you are passionate about - writing and European travel? Or did you begin the site thinking that this could be a way to earn money? Durant Imboden: Writing.org was never conceived as a way to make money. I hoped it would benefit the MSN forum that I ran from 1995 to 1999, but I've always financed it out of my own pocket. (I don't run ads on the site because nearly all writing-related ads are for vanity presses or scams.) The Baby Boomer's Venice wasn't conceived as a moneymaker either. As I mentioned above, the site was built in connection with a software review, and I kept it going afterwards because I liked the subject matter and I hate to throw anything away! process.

17

The Mining Co./About.com sites were created as for-profit editorial ventures. I've been a professional writer and editor since the 1960s, and The Mining Co./About.com seemed to offer an opportunity to "monetize" editorial content on the Web. After Cheryl and I were fired from About.com, I decided that it was time to leverage my 30+ years of editorial and publishing experience by doing on the Web what guidebook author-publishers like Karl Baedeker, Eugene Fodor, Temple Fielding, and Arthur Frommer had long been doing in the print world--i.e., creating a strong personal brand and controlling the publishing process. PowerHomeBiz.com: Do you manage europeforvisitors.com and your other websites full-time? Are your websites your main source of income? Durant Imboden: Yes. PowerHomeBiz.com: What are the ways you earn money from your sites? How do you leverage the content of your site? Durant Imboden: We have two revenue sources: affiliate commissions or referral fees, and contextual text ads from Google's AdSense network. PowerHomeBiz.com: Given the importance of affiliate programs in your revenue mix, what are your criteria for selecting an affiliate program to join for any of your site? Durant Imboden: Our main criterion is whether a program adds value for the reader. Our readers are looking for things like car rentals, rail passes, and hotel bookings, so having related affiliate programs is good for both our readers and us. At the same time, we try to include a few programs that may not be huge moneymakers but make the site more useful, such as travel insurance and local sightseeing tours. We're very picky about the user experience--not only on our site, but also on affiliate programs' sites. And we've had to drop a couple of programs (including one well-know European hostel program) because they've turned out to be deadbeats. Finally, we use affiliate programs that serve an international audience whenever we can, both to please our readers and to diversify our revenue sources. (About half of our hotel bookings come from Europe, and most of our hotel commissions are paid in euros. Such diversification protects us when international travel to Europe is down and when the U.S. dollar falls against European currencies.) PowerHomeBiz.com: Managing one website is hard enough, and you have five. How do you make sure that each and every site remains on par with the standards you have set in terms of quality and in keeping with your goals? Durant Imboden: Writing.org and The Baby Boomer's

Durant Imboden: Writing.org and The Baby Boomer's Venice don't require much maintenance. And our other sites (Europeforvisitors.com, Veniceforvisitors.com, Switzerlandforvisitors.com, and Austriaforvisitors.com) are really just one big site with separately branded subtopics. It does take time to create and maintain content, but I'm a fast writer with efficient tools like Microsoft FrontPage 2003 and Adobe PhotoShop Elements that make the job a lot easier. And don't forget, this is my full-time job. Of course, quality isn't just determined by editorial content--it's also based on how you present that content. We try to avoid the overcommercialized look and feel of big corporate sites like Travelandleisure.com and CondĂŠ Nast's Concierge.com, where the amount of space devoted to ads and affiliate promotions can make it hard to find (let alone read) the editorial content. We also give thought to how quickly our pages load. When we were at About.com, the in-house publishing system often added 50 Kb of code to 5 Kb of text when our pages were served. That's a good way to drive away readers with dial-up connections. PowerHomeBiz.com: What is your strategy for creating content for each of your sites?

PowerHomeBiz.com: How has your sites grown through the years? Give some milestones/achievements of the sites. Durant Imboden: In just over two years, Europeforvisitors.com has grown to an average of 300,000 visitors and more than a million page views per month. It has a higher Alexa traffic ranking than Travel and Leisure's Web site and all but a handful of European national tourist offices. We've also had some great reviews and coverage in publications like USA Today, the Washington Post, and Forbes (which twice has given us its "Best of the Web" award). Such media coverage doesn't necessarily drive a lot of traffic to the site, but it's good for credibility with readers, PR people, and other media. PowerHomeBiz.com: Please share any lessons or tips you've learned on how to create a successful content website. Durant Imboden: Find a topic that you love and can stay interested in, and which is capable of being monetized. That's the hard part--not all topics will produce good income.

Durant Imboden: Our goal has always been to create "evergreen" content that can stay online permanently with occasional updating. Lately, we've been doing in-depth "saturation coverage" of European destinations, cruises, and other travel experiences. Nobody else is doing anything like this.

Focus on value to the reader, and make sure that your pages offer easily digestible "spider food" to the search engines. The Webmaster guidelines at Google, http://www.google.com, are well worth reading.

When we write an article about a destination, we make a point of including links to tourist offices, museums, public transportation, maps, and other third-party sites. Linking to other sites is one of the World Wide Web's fundamental principles, and it's also a great way to become a "resource hub" that attracts repeat visitors.

Have enough technical knowledge to feel comfortable as a Web publisher, but don't get wrapped up in technical issues at the expense of content. (Your readers don't care if you're building your site with FrontPage or PostNuke--they're just looking for information in a format that's reasonably attractive and easy to read.)

In general, our content strategy might be termed "long-term" rather than "short-term." As our site grows from its current 3,500 or so pages of content, each page will add a trickle of direct or indirect income to the existing revenue stream.

When looking for ways to earn money from your site, don't sacrifice long-term credibility and growth for shortterm profits.

PowerHomeBiz.com: Your websites appear to be a family endeavor. How is your wife involved in your sites? How are you balancing your family life and business? Durant Imboden: Cheryl does some of the writing and photography on the site. She also handles most of the proofreading and--most important--the financial planning and bookkeeping. Balancing family life and business has never been a problem for us. For example, I share my attic office with the computer that my son uses, and I might be editing an article in FrontPage while my son's friends are huddling around his PC and our dog is snoozing on the attic couch. Also, it helps to be in a business that involves something we all enjoy: travel.

Finally, if you have a day job, don't give it up too soon-and if you've got a working spouse who can supply the family with medical insurance and other benefits, so much the better!

How an Internet Business Makes You Money on Autopilot? By: Murtuza Abbas

What if you discovered a simple system that will keep making you money for long time to come once you have done the initial set up work? Do you know what it takes to set up a highly successful online business using an autopilot internet business system? The freedom this system can give you cannot be under estimated. It keeps earning money for you for years to come and all you need to do is drive traffic to this system. Traffic pours from the front end and cash flows from the other end. To set up such a system you have to be determined for first few months and keep doing the initial ground work to tune your cash engine. What are the components you need to set up for an autopilot system that makes sales for you on a constant basis?

1. Products.

20

You must create at least 10 products in your niche to sell to your subscribers. Your products should range from $47 low ticket products to $997 home study course. You should also focus in creating a high ticket coaching program that sells for $5000 to $10,000 per year. Your high ticket packages will make you loads of internet cash at the backend and that will give you the maximum profits that you deserve. 2. List building system. You must have a squeeze page to collect leads. Your squeeze page should convert maximum of your visitors into leads. 3. Emails. You should have high quality emails in your campaign that will build relationship with your subscribers. Apart from sales emails you should have high quality content emails that goes out to your subscribers on regular basis. This will build the kind of trust and reputation that you will need to sell your products to your customers. 4. Traffic. You should have a constant stream of high quality traffic rolling into your squeeze page on a consistent basis. It is of no use to drive thousands of visitors to your website who are not interested in your products and services. If you focus in driving only 1000 high quality visitors, it will be more than enough for you to earn consistent income from your site. Therefore make sure to focus in driving quality traffic as this kind of traffic will convert into leads. 5. Backend marketing system & offers. You should focus in setting up high quality offers at various points in your sales funnel. Offers have the power to earn you great money at any point of time. Make sure you set up a high quality tested backend marketing system in place that keeps selling products to your customers.

Affordable SEO Packages - How to Get One That Suits Your Budget?

23

By: Ador Talukdar

You know that in order to have a successful search engine optimization campaign you are going to have to have a complete link building package. You also know that you do not have an unlimited budget for the advertising of the company and that you have to spread the money you do have earmarked for the advertising and promotion out among the different types of strategies you plan to use. You know that you cannot limit yourself to one type of advertising and expect to be successful. These are a lot of things to know and they can cause a lot of stressful nights where you try to figure out how you are going to proceed. A complete link building package will include the company helping you to establish solid back links from relevant sites back to your web site. These links need to be well monitored and maintained so they remain viable and they also need to be placed in every type of page that the customer you are attempting to reach may be viewing. This means that even though you do not get a high PR value for things like forum discussion pages and blog posting you still need to have back links established in these locations because people will be going to these locations to read about the things they are interested in. You will also need representation on as many of the social networking sites as you can get. There are a lot of people of all ages and financial situations that use these social networking sites daily.

A complete link building package is a crucial part of your marketing campaign and it should be where a large portion of your advertising and marketing campaign budget is spent. Of course you do not want to overlook the other types of advertising like your newspapers, television, and local sporting fields, unless you do not have a store that people can actually walk into. If you do not have a Main Street address that the customer comes to in order to shop then you can spend a much larger portion of your advertising budget on your complete link building package and eliminate things like radio advertising and advertising in local papers. A complete link building package rewards you with visits to your website from people that see your link on other pages and click on it. These extra visitors will add up to extra sales because for every twenty visits that does not result in a sale there is one that will result in a sale. Do not let these numbers discourage you. It is easy to get twenty people to your website. The benefits of the complete link building package do not stop with the people that click on the link though. You also benefit when the search engines discover that these links exist and they raise you to a higher level on their suggestions page. You then receive more visits from people who were using keywords to search for your type of website because you will be closer to the top.

Passive Income : Clickbank Are You A Starter? By Michael Carroll

What is Clickbank? Clickbank is a digital marketplace that a lot of individuals have tried to use to market and sell digital products online. The marketplace is enormous and offers a lot of access to products to promote and affiliates for your own products. That in of itself should be a good thing, right? How to Use Clickbank The simplest way to use Clickbank is to just sign up and be an affiliate. There are several benefits to that. However, it's $49.95 if you want to be a vendor. Though I don't recommend that, it might be a viable option for you if you so choose to be able to sell via their marketplace. It may be a bit of a challenge for you at first to be able to do that but can definitely be done. The simple secret to making this site work for you is to get out and promote on a high traffic site. Maybe some of your customers are willing to pay for some of the items that you are promoting from the marketplace.

Cons Here is what I perceive to be the biggest cons on the site: 1. 2.

Can be hard to get sales Some of the products seem questionable 3. Clickbank docks pay if you are not getting sales 4. Clickbank's fees can be just as bad as some of the other processors 5. No way to tell if the products themselves actually work or not. These are the things that I think are the drawbacks to using Clickbank as a business model. It can be something that may hurt you in the long run than helps you overall. Why chance that image?

Benefits There are 5 major benefits to this marketplace: 1. 2. 3. 4.

Don't have to find affiliates Don't have to find products to promote Access to training materials Can sell multiple items if you know PHP or can afford easyclickmate software. 5. Can be a great starting point towards being in business. These seem to be the most apparent benefits for being a part of this particular marketplace. That is great and all, but what are some of the downsides?

My Review My review is that you should use Clickbank on occasion, but only find products that you think will be a benefit to the customers that you are catering to. If you must, purchase a particular product beforehand and then try it out. That is what I recommend to you before trying to promote a particular product from that marketplace, otherwise you might chance ruining a business image that you are trying to build up for yourself.

Interview A True Businessman Your encouragement inculcates a sense of participation among your employees and their input becomes inevitably fruitful for the organization as they assume that this is their own organization Daily Times: How did you start your career? Yahya Polani: I started my journey from electric lights decoration business. I was both a laborer and a boss. Had two employees as well. But, I was not satisfied with that and switched over to my present field: the travel agency business. DT: How did you enter this business? YP: I started my business with Rs 100 investment and set up 48 square feet office on the M A Jinnah Road in 1973. After a couple of years, I collaborated with a friend and expanded my business in Karachi and relocated my office to I I Chundrigar Road. Finally, I became the sole owner of Polani Travelers and established its subsidiary organizations subsequently one after another. DT: How is your experience of working in different sectors?

— CEO Polani Travelers, Yahya Polani DT: Being a boss, how do you evaluate the performance of Pakistan's human resource? YP: Well, the performance of our citizens is good as they are hardworking and talented, capable of working day and night despite unfavorable working situations. Further, your encouragement inculcates a sense of participation among your employees and their input becomes inevitably fruitful for the organization as they assume that this is their own organization. I don't have to give too many directions to my employees because workers from top to bottom work honestly and independently without any fear. DT: What do you think about the capabilities of workforce working abroad?

YP: Working in multiple sectors is always useful and to me it has been very profitable as funds continue to flow and resources are employed optimally in diverse fields. Therefore, one sector strengthens another and offsets any loss. I have incurred losses in a few sectors, but recovered soon with the support of my other established businesses. This is the best formula of successful business as you can never be bankrupt with diversified investment.

YP: As a manpower exporter, I think the best quality work is produced by Pakistani nationals in foreign countries. That is why remittances in the country have continued to flow in and have made records. I believe the expatriate Pakistanis are playing a pivotal role in strengt-hening our economy. Skilled employees should be encouraged and facilitated if they desire to work abroad. In contrast, they get little help from the government. Government should provide more facilities to companies exporting manpower.

DT: What is the philosophy of a successful businessman in your view?

DT: What are the qualities of a good boss?

YP: Working tirelessly with the collaboration of your trusted business partners and sincere employees and availing yourself of every opportunity. You need to work with people so it is very important to distribute responsibilities in your organization wisely and rightly in order to obtain better and long-term results, which actually make a business-man successful in every field and country. for the organization as they assume that this is their own organization. I don't have to give too many directions to my employees because workers from top to bottom work honestly and independently without any fear.

-Stephen Colbert

YP: A good boss must be a good human being and know the needs and potential of his subordinates. He should take good care of his workers and treat them as stakeholders in his business. A boss should be a role model for his employees. So I still work hard till late to complete the work. I am always punctual and meet the deadlines. I try my level best to satisfy my clients and business partners.

31 DT: What will be the effects of floods on tourism and aviation industries? YP: Forecasting the losses to aviation and tourism industries is a bit difficult at the moment but these two industries will definitely get hurt indirectly because of the dilapidated infrastructure of the flood-hit provinces. Tourist spots have also been destroyed in KhyberPakhtunkhawa. Government apathy will delay the reconstruction of these spots, so the people depending on tourists for their livelihoods will suffer. DT: How could Hajj operations be improved in the country? YP: I handled the Hajj groups when they used to go by ship. Although there were many difficulties at that time, the situation was much better than it is now with modern aircraft. The ministry has a lot of corruption on the one hand and the national airline has a lot of problems on the other. The ministry makes money through Hajj operations although it is a Muslim country. On the other hand, the staff members of the national flag carrier also create troubles for us. DT: What are your business goals in future? YP: I have achieved more than I had thought in my life. I still consider myself a common citizen of the country. I initiate a work and thanks to Allah it flourishes. DT: What is your present priority of life as businessman? YP: In my views, education and training plays a pivotal role in human development. So, I constituted an NGO a couple of years ago to train government schools' teachers with English language skills. I know it is very important for our nation because teachers groom the new generation and if they are educated, our new workforce will be better educated. DT: What is the strongest point of your personality? YP: I believe in the proverb "honesty is the best policy". I am honest with others and want others to be honest with me.

DT: What is the weakest point of your person-ality? YP: I will not accept lies and dishonesty as this makes trouble for people and your business eventually. DT: How do you spend your leisure time? YP: I am very much involved in social activities. I am always cheerful in meetings and parties with friends. It is fun to chat with friends and business partners and play cards with them occasionally. DT: What are your favourite books or TV programmes? YP: I am not an avid reader but read news-papers and magazines daily. I like talk shows very much and manage time to watch my favorite shows on TV. DT: Do you like music? YP: I like classical music and love listening to songs of famous singers of the sub-continent. Besides, I am very fond of listening to Naat. *

So You Want to Launch a Product? By Kim Laroqrue

Launching a product can be one of the most lucrative and successful moves that any entrepreneur can make. It can also be one on the most confusing, overwhelming, and stressful projects that you ever complete. The number and series of tasks that are part of a successful product launch can certainly cause paralysis in any of us which is why it is important to do your research and learn how to launch a product successfully. This article provides an overview of the steps involved in a successful product launch. There are many ways that one can go about launching a product and there really isn't one specific formula to apply. In fact, the way you go about launching your product depends on your industry, your target audience, and the type of product that you have. In order for your launch to be successful you really need to plan out your launch and not skip or overlook any important steps.

A PRODUCT LAUNCH CONSISTS OF 5 MAJOR AREAS OF ACTIVITY: Product Feasibility Assessment - Do you have a quality product? Are providing a real solution or something of true value? What is the market demand for your product? How about the competition? Is someone else out there offering a similar product? If so, how are they marketing it? Are you a leader in your industry or at least perceived as one? These are all very important questions that need to be considered as they can very well influence whether or not your launch will be successful. Strategy Development and Preparation - This is the stage when you plan out all of the activities and sequence of events that will make up your product launch. You will literally map out the next 3 stages of your launch. What needs to happen before, during, and after the pre-launch, the launch, and the follow-up stages? This is a very important step that involves a lot of organizing, research, and skill. This is the stage when you build your team as you will more than likely need to outsource several activities. Pre-Launch - Do you have a squeeze page set up? Are you actively building your list? Do you know how to build a list? Have you set up all of your social media marketing activities? Do you have articles and press releases ready? Are you blogging consistently? Have you researched a list of potential joint venture partners? Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/6742099

Launch (The Main Event) - Is your shopping cart set up properly? Are your auto-responders set up? Do you have a compelling sales page? Have you created an event for your launch day? How about an affiliate program, is it ready to go? Have you considered other advertising methods such as pay per click ads? Post-Launch - Are you tracking your stats properly? Do you have ongoing communication activities in place? Are you listening to your customers and their feedback? Are you continuing with your blogging and social media activities? As you can imagine there are countless areas of activities each requiring research, strategy development, and implementation. Launching a product is not an overnight task but with the right team members and tools, it can come together within a month or two, that is if your product is ready to go. If you are interested in learning more or want to become a Certified Product Launch Support Specialist, I highly recommend VA Classroom's Product Launch Support Specialist Program. Their program has really helped me put the pieces of the puzzle together nicely so that I can offer quality service to my own clients.

Digi Backlink Leverage for Guaranteed Success and Healthy Traffic

By Troy Shanks

Digi Backlink Leverage provides you lots, actually tons, of backlinks by using their mostly free software.

The course is created so that you can be instructed in 4 modules:

The famous and successful internet marketer Andy Fletcher decided to launch this brand new report, Backlink Leverage. This is one of the most effective backlink building techniques that are presented in a simple step by step guide.

Module 1 is called "Introduction to Leverage or Why Aristotle Was A Dude" and explains in details how not everything is about syndication, but about how you syndicate. Module 2, also known as "The Strategy or Leveraging Content for Fun and Profit", explains how the strategy works, exactly. Module 3 or Article 1-2-3 or Always Leave Them Wanting More, describes a unique process on how to improve the traffic from all the syndicated links. Module 4 or "Syndication Step-by-step or How to Make One Blog Post Conquer the Known Universe" will teach you how to leverage your content and spread it in a wide variety of formats. It will show you how to use cheap or even free programs that will transform your existing content and show you where to efficiently syndicate it.

Just like every other program created by Andy, this one does more than other similar ones do, by not just telling you how to build the backlinks, but also providing methods on how to make those backlinks work better. This will double, even triple your traffic. Let's have a sneak-peak at which are the 4 principles on which Andy bases his backlinking program: 1. make your opinion heard: reading stuff that has already been written bores people, share your own opinion and use strong arguments and people will love to read through; 2. don't be afraid to be different or outrageous, without crossing the line of common sense, of course; 3. avoid to be offensive towards anyone; 4. inspire and share passion. These 4 principles are just some randomly extracted features from the course Andy has created. Of course, there is more to it, than what is written here. After all, his creation is a complete system designed to bring you much more traffic and backlinks.

Digi Backlink Leverage is the only program that will rock your world and will give your internet business the greatest boost ever. Being an internet marketer is not easy, you'll have to work and run your own business every day. There is no knowledge on when you might get some free time, because the business might need you to come back and change or upgrade things. Digi Backlink Leverage can change this, due to the fact that it provides efficiency even when you're not around a computer, to take care of things. This is the most complete traffic program available, so don't hesitate to use it, so that your business meets a whole new level of profit! The backlinking process is not about what you do, but more about how you do it and that's what Digi Backlink Leverage teaches us!

How Do I Advertise a Product? By Steven Jordan

Here is a tip to help you deal with the diversity of customers when you advertise a product: There is a fine line between how you advertise a product and how you present yourself. Advertising should have a dual approach, because in truth there are two advertisements happening at once. An advertising balance between you and your product is like two wings of one bird. One wing is the product:The product can speak for itself and fly off the shelf. The second wing is you:You can make an unknown product take flight in the mind of a potential customer. Often, when you are not looking, an advertising tactic may appear too extreme you and not enough the product or to extreme product and not enough you. Every good advertiser should have a dual approach to produce good results, without the dual effect the potential customer will not experience the balance that is needed to affect a successful advertisement and eventual sale of the product. The human factor can awaken the curiosity and the product will make the sale, or the product arouses curiosity and the human factor clinches the deal. But humans being what we are, we have a left side and a right side; so for one it may be the curiosity for the product, for the other you are what attracts and awakens to what you want to sell. These are two distinct factors for one product being advertised; this is a dual effect that you must be prepared for. Two approaches, one product being advertised, so the one approach allows for more personality and less product the other approach demands more product with less personality.

The tip is to remain alert and flow with the duplicity and advertise within both sides of the spectrum, because fluctuation between you and your product can happen in the middle of the potential customers' decision process. It is not only the direct customer contact where this dual state of mind is an instrument; it is also the different internet advertising methods that you yourself approach. You may be able to enter, for example, E-Bay with just a straight up product sales pitch, but if you are trying to draw traffic to your website through a forum then the product is pretty much a taboo subject, in a forum you must be who you are. Self awareness along with honesty will work in either case, weather the moment dictates that you advertise a product or advertise yourself; use both wings and let your product fly into the hands of your customers. MOBILE MONOPOLY - THE FRESH TECHNIQUE FOR YOUR ACHIEVEMENT IN ONLINE MARKETING By Jennifer Wallace

Out of all the online marketing items that are widely spoken about regularly, I would say that the Mobile Monopoly program is almost certainly very interesting as well as the most groundbreaking. If we evaluate online marketing as well as to observe how effective and profitable it has been within the last ten or even fifteen years, and continue to do so, we will see that it is very popular. You see, it's believed that approximately one point eight billion individuals' are connected to the internet. Now check out the cellular phone also known as the 'Mobile Phone' business; from this all of us can easily see the massive dimension of it. At present, approximately five billion people throughout the world own a cellular phone; therefore, you can easily see the opening for success that marketing and advertising with this industry can bring to you. In fact, the five billion mobile phone or cell phone consumers are waiting for you to send your advertising to them. In reality these are the sort of customers that businesses all over the world would choose to advertise their products, particularly the fifty million individuals' who currently have the smart phones. The number of people with smart phones is growing; and to prove my point, Apple not too long ago released apple iPhone4, and they sold over three million models within a calendar month. Big organisations such as Google as well as the Apple company are continuously altering their marketing and advertising methods in order to dive into this enormous industry, and after Google purchased the promoting system AdMob, the Apple company reacted by releasing their very own marketing system iAd.

Marketing and advertising in this particular market is growing, however, amazingly it continues to be unheard of by many companies, and internet marketers remain unfamiliar with the way it operates, and the excellent opportunity that's before them when using this system. They do not know how to implement it, and how they can earn an income from using it. Now Mr Adam Horwitz the person who developed 'Mobile Monopoly' will show you gradually how you can generate money using his program. He offers to lift the cover from the key techniques he utilizes to get more than $1,000 daily in real earnings from cellular phones. Adam also would display the techniques he applied to simply obtain traffic even when you do not possess an internet site or keyword phrases. His online video system will show you what is needed to become a member of this fresh emerging trend.

Cordia Harrington: From Rags to Riches Success Story Success is often achieved when the person is able to go further than most people, breaking Sam Walton grew up poor limitations imposed by during the Great Depression, yet their own economic, rose to start the biggest retail physical and cultural store Wal-Mart. In Sam Walton's boundaries. Cordia "Running a Successful Company: Harrington is a classic Ten Rules that Worked for Me," example of success, as learn Walton's winning formula she overcome poverty to for business. become one of the most powerful women in businesses today. A rags-to-riches story, Harrington overcame her difficult childhood and poor economic background to become a multimillionaire. She came from a poor working class family, always wearing hand-me-down clothes, as her parents struggled to pay the bills. A big night out for the family was a monthly visit to the local McDonald’s restaurant. So it is but fitting that today, she is the CEO of The Tennessee Bun Company , a company based in Nashville, Tennessee supplying buns and English muffins worldwide to McDonald’s, Pepperidge Farms and other popular food distributors. A characteristic that has set Harrington apart is her strong will to achieve and a resourceful spirit. Her first taste of success was in the real estate business. She poured her entire life savings of $587 to rent an office and become a real estate agent. Given her fierce determination to succeed, she was soon selling homes faster than contractors could build them. Tired of waiting for contractors to complete the homes, she decided to build the homes herself by becoming the contractor. As she explains,

44 “Instead of moaning and complaining, you have to take that energy, when problems happen, and put it towards taking you to the next level.” Then a divorced mother of three boys, Harrington moved to Illinois and opened one of the first women-owned McDonald’s franchises to spend more time with her children. She was, however, faced with the challenge of driving traffic to her McDonald’s franchisedue to its sleepy rural location in Effingham. Her solution? Get a loan to buy into the Greyhound bus franchise, and have the busses stop near the McDonald’s. The shrewd strategy paid off: “I was proud to say that 88 buses a day would stop there. That helped grow the sales a lot. In the summertime we had over 120 buses a day. Our sales rocketed to one of the top forty in the US. We were so excited.” She opened two more McDonald’s franchises in the mid-West. Then in 1992, she had the opportunity to be in the McDonald’s bun committee that allowed her to tour bakeries around the world. Those trips opened her eyes to the huge business possibility for baking buns. When McDonald’s announced that they needed a new bun contractor, Harrington was determined to win the contract, even though she had no bakeryexperience. She spent the next four years learning about the bakery business, visiting mills and sending photos of herself in a baker’s cap to McDonald’s executives. As she told in an interview with Reader’s Digest, “If you have a dream, you can’t wait for people to call you. So I’d visit a mill and send them photos of myself in a baker’s hat and jacket, holding a sign that said, “I want to be your baker.” Her persistence paid off and she got the McDonald’s contract. Harrington sold her franchises, invested everything she owned, and borrowed $13.5 million. The Tennessee Bun Company was born in 1996. Today, TBN is the world’s fastest high-speed bun company, producing 1,000 buns per minute. To complement her bun baking business, she started a trucking company, Bun Lady Trucking, to make sure that her buns get to market on time. She also branched out to expand the bakeries’ efficiency; with a business called Cold Storage of Nashville. In 2007, she started CornerStone Baking Company producing frozen dough pieces for several well-known casual dining restaurants. A true American success story, Cordia Harrington aimed – and reached – the stars through the virtues of hard work, imagination and perseverance
