And in Parliament? • Three or four Bills per year year… • New initiatives • Local services still reacting to Government or more focussed on the local?

Energy? E ? Waste? Ed cation? Education? The NHS? Defence? Terrorism? Social Care? Crime? Employment? Tax?
Will local public services be noticeably better or worse in 2015?
A vision thing thing‌for for 2030
Everything is different… There is a hung Parliament Parliament proposes proposes…consults…listens…pilots…learns consults listens pilots learns Whitehall has been replaced by Network UK There are national services for advice , access, benefits and simple transactions There are new place shaping authorities at sub-regional sub regional level level, renewing infrastructure, stimulating local economies, building housing, recycling and burning waste Local public services are boosting attainment, polishing place, brokering care, advocating for individuals, co-ordinating, prompting, noticing. Regional order authorities will incorporate policing, civil instructions,deviance surveillance,and threat monitoring. The NHS will be no more , replaced by health mutuals and an emergency service
And what about you? • There will be new Public Service degrees • All employees will be expected to work in public services for at least two years • The minimum wage will be linked to the median of the highest 5% of employees • Most folk will work for themselves or in mutuals
