MAKING THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE
ENVIRONMENT
CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
Our timber products are only sourced from approved FSC suppliers within a sustainable environment and in a fair and ethical manner. We ensure our suppliers are committed to the prevention of child labour or slavery within their own supply chain and that they act in a responsible manner. Our own materials are recycled to make smaller components. At the end of their life, all components are sent to approved recycling centres for full regeneration. We use stillages and re-useable strapping to secure and transport our materials, meaning we don’t create unnecessary packaging waste.
We monitor the activities of our suppliers and choose them wisely, knowing that initial cost is only part of the story – quality, lifecycle cost, maintenance, practicality and a secure supply also need to be considered. Additionally, we endeavour to secure our products through local suppliers so that the economic benefit is felt in the community. We employ local labour wherever possible and offer opportunities for employment and training to local people. By investing locally, we are adding to the economic growth of the area in which we operate which helps create more opportunities and more need for our services.
