Public Pool Kathryn Platt ARCH2130 // Fall 2016 Situated on Boston’s Merrimac and Market Streets, the public pool was not only located at a major intersection, but it had to fit within a triangular site. An autonomous facade sits directly on the busy edge of the lot and engages the inhabitants of the intersection by allowing them to see the actions of those inside through calculated punctured apertures. The placement of the main pools, cardio room, and circulation follows this independent wall.
