The images were collected during two trips: the first was issued in September 2009 and was limited in Vienna. The second, in August 2011, was a real tour with stops in Graz, Vienna, Durstein, Melk, Salzburg and Innsbruck. The visit to Mauthausen was not scheduled. As often happens, it was the most intense moment of the whole trip. This volume is dedicated to all those who suffered and died in Mauthausen-Gusen from 1938 to 1945, giving everyone an unforgettable lesson about the dangers of intolerance. Two trips, two cameras: Leica Digilux and Nikon D2X. All photographs were processed with Photoshop(tm) CS5. Panoramas were stitched with PTGui. The mosaic of cover was obtained with AndreaMosaic. Its history ran from the time of the Anschluss in 1938 to the last week of the Second World War. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mauthausen-Gusen_concentration_camp
