wooden jewellery The name ‘zoemou’ translates to ‘my life’, and was given to artist Zoe Sernack as a childhood nickname while living on the Greek Islands. She has been designing accessories for over ten years and launched her own label in 2005, producing a collection far from the mainstream. An artist and gallery owner, Zoe appreciates form and uniqueness. The fourth range named ”Nobilta Di Dame”, (noble class of ladies) is inspired by the historical Baroque period, each piece is named after well known woman of the 17th century, and popular names of that time. The emphasis for each style is on contrasting volume and texture with elaborate shapes and adornments. The Baroque period was a movement away from the harsh Medieval and early Renaissance style with new emphasis on using vocal and instrumental colour. Each piece is stained in opulent colours such as jewel green, mulberry, honey oak and chocolate, with a visible wood grain that cleverly combines elements of nature with a human touch and fine workmanship. ‘zoemou’ is stocked in exclusive boutiques throughout Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

Packaging
Each zoemou necklace is delivered in a beautiful display box, the larger and medium styles are sold in a larger box with a stand up display backing. Each necklace comes with its own zoemou bird tag in either silver, black or gold.
