“NCH was definitely the best fit for me. Coming from a large university in my undergrad, I much prefer the small scale approach to my courses as I am able to communicate effectively with my colleagues and professors. With tutorials with my professors and small group seminars, the College shows that it really cares about students’ education and understanding of course material.” ED (LLB Senior Status, year 1)

Whether you want to see your favourite band perform, visit a world-famous gallery, or have a great night out, there is always something to do and people to do it with.
NCH Student Union The NCH Student Union (NCHSU) is a student-led organisation at the heart of the NCH student experience. NCHSU exists to promote the interests of the student body, campaigning, lobbying, and advocating for student issues, as well as planning social and extracurricular activities and providing support to student clubs and societies. Whatever your passion – art, music, sport, theatre, performing arts, creative writing, politics, or playwriting to playing poker or sharing your appreciation of craft beer – you can get involved in bringing it to life through the NCHSU.

Graduates
You can apply to us directly via nchlondon.ac.uk.
We welcome applications from graduates of a wide range of humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences disciplines.
If English is not your native language, you will need to demonstrate proficiency in English in order to study at the College.
We accept applications on a rolling basis. 3. NCH INTERVIEW All applications to NCH are very carefully considered by our admissions tutors. We invite all candidates we believe would thrive at NCH to an interview, which will take place via Zoom. The interview is your opportunity to discuss your interest and aspirations, and to find out more about your chosen Masters degree programme, with an academic specialist in your field of study. 4. 40
Offers are typically made to applicants holding an upper second-class honours undergraduate degree, or equivalent. If you are below a 2:1, we will still consider your application. Each applicant will be assessed on an individual basis through their application, a reference and personal statement. Professionals NCH welcomes applications from learners who may have been out of education for a while who have equivalent professional experience.
Applicants who have taken higher-level English as part of their secondary school examinations or who have a degree in English may be exempt fro am completing an additional English test. Applicants who have been educated full-time in the medium of the English language in the past two years to obtain, for example, A-levels, may also be exempt from additional requirements. INTERNATIONAL STUDENT VISAS
WORKING RIGHTS
In order to study in the United Kingdom international students may require a visa.
International students will be able to work part-time (max 20 hours) during term-time and full-time during holidays.
This document is prepared ahead of the academic period to which it relates to provide potential students with an overview of the programmes for which they are applying. As a result, there may be infrequent occasions when the College is unable to offer individual courses, degree programmes, or services described herein. Furthermore, the College reserves the right to withdraw individual courses or degree programmes where there is an insufficient number of applications or confirmed students to make the course viable.

Fees & funding GRADUATE ROUTE WORK VISA
HOME FEES
The Graduate Route is available to international students who have a valid student visa at the time of application and have successfully completed a UK degree at undergraduate level or above at a Higher Education Provider with a track record of compliance.
EU, EEA and Swiss citizens with settled status (or Indefinite Leave to Remain or permanent residency) who have been ordinarily resident in the UK or Islands for the three years immediately before the start of their course (unless the residency in the UK or Islands was mainly for the purpose of education) are considered home students for tuition fees.
Successful applicants on this route will be able to stay and work, or look for work, in the UK at any skill level for a maximum period of two years if they have successfully completed an undergraduate or master’s degree. Find out more at our website: nchlondon.ac.uk/poststudywork
The UK and Ireland have agreed that students from Ireland will continue to have home fee status in the UK, under the arrangements of the Common Travel Area.
POSTGRADUATE LOAN FOR MASTERS STUDY
SCHOLARSHIPS FOR POSTGRADUATE STUDENTS
The UK Government Postgraduate Loan (PGL) of up to £11,570 per student for postgraduate master’s study in the UK is available for students normally residing in England, including students from the EU, EAA and Swiss passport holders. PGL will be a contribution towards the costs of study and whether the loan is used towards fees, maintenance or other costs will be at the student’s discretion.
NCH offers a number of prestigious scholarships to students who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement and potential.
There are separate loans for students domiciled in Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
There is no scholarship application. All applicants for our postgraduate degree programmes are automatically considered for a scholarship award. Scholarship awards are a £500 bank transfer payment in GBP which a student will receive after the Reading Week of their first term of studies. Students must complete enrolment, continue their studies through to Reading Week, and pay any outstanding fees in order to receive the award. The £500 scholarship award applies for the first year of studies only.
On such occasions, students will be informed of changes within a reasonable timescale and another individual course or degree programme will be offered, which will have equal academic benefit to the course or degree programme originally described. From time to time, individual faculty members may stop teaching at the College. In such instances, the College will undertake reasonable endeavours to ensure that students are taught by another academic with an equivalent level of qualification, research interests, and experience.
All information related to fees, loans, and scholarships is correct at the time of publication but may be subject to changes in UK government funding policy. Please visit nchlondon.ac.uk/fees for up to date information. If you would like to discuss student finance, please contact us via info@nchlondon.ac.uk.
