Funnybones’ New Buffalo Wing Sauce Set to Fly Off Shelves

Operators will no longer have to wing it with unreliable sauces, thanks to the launch of Funnybones Foodservice’s New Rio Pacific Buffalo Wing Sauce.
Ideal for dipping, dunking, or glazing, the sauce can be served cold or hot – though we recommend hot for maximum flavour! The addition of butter balances the hot cayenne pepper base, resulting in a creamy and luxurious texture. Simply toss cooked wings in the Buffalo sauce, and serve for a sizzling appetiser.
Funnybones Development Chef, Tom Styman-Heighton, is excited about the new addition to Funnybones’ extensive sauce range;
“Buffalo sauce is an absolute must-have when it comes to serving wings. We’ve spent a long time coming up with our own unique recipe to get it just right – balancing full bodied heat with a really smooth, moreish finish – and we’re delighted with the results.
“With many operators looking to simplify menus due to supply chain issues, we expect to see more of a reliance on sauces to quickly add a pop of flavour to meals. The new Buffalo sauce lends itself perfectly to operators interested in ‘Glocal’ products; globally inspired flavours, produced locally. The Buffalo Wing sauce joins Rio Pacific’s other latest addition to Funnybones’ extensive range of sauces – Korean BBQ Marinade. This punchy newcomer delivers all the sticky sweet goodness of a classic BBQ sauce, with the spicy twist of the Far East. Versatile enough to be used across the board, this marinade works particularly well with the smoky charr of a flaming grill.
