Welcome to NewCommunity New Community is a growing family of church congregations, missional communities and projects serving the city of Southampton and the wider Solent area. Our goal is to the see the whole region filled with the Good News about Jesus, bringing God’s salvation, healing and hope to those who do not yet know Him. We are committed to: seeing every member of our community equipped and encouraged to be all God has called them to be building vibrant Christian communities; developing projects to serve the needs of those around us.
Over the past few years, the shape and structure of New Community has changed dramatically as we have been led by God to partner with others, make new connections and develop new areas of ministry. Our conviction is that we can do more together than we can on our own. In this brochure we want to share with you a snapshot of what God is doing across our community. We hope you will be inspired and encouraged.

NewCommunity Central
Who are we? New Community Central is a growing, family friendly congregation with a desire to create a great place of belonging for people of every age and background. We meet in the City at Central Hall on Sunday mornings – for vibrant worship, practical teaching, and the chance to be together. There is a full children and youth programme for ages 0-18’s with Connect Groups meeting throughout the week in homes across the City as a way of shar-
ing life together. We have a large Student community from both of the Universities, which also meets regularly during the term time. Our desire is that everyone who is part of Central will be able to encounter God and become a true follower of Jesus, empowered to change the world around them. As a large and busy church there is plenty going on that you can get involved with or just come and visit one Sunday - you would always be warmly welcomed.

We aim to enable every person to grow, give and go: To grow in our relationship with God and in character and gift; To give ourselves, and our resources, to build loving relationships with those in the church and wider community; To go into our local communities and beyond making the love of God known, through our words, actions and supernatural gifts.
