02 PROGRAM DETAILS
The Program is divided into three semesters. And apart from German as a foreign language, the subjects taught during the three semester course cover a wide range of subjects for qualifying for university entry.

First semester will be strongly focused on German language learning and cross-cultural competences. In the beginning of the second semester students will have to chose between 3 study tracks: Engineering, Economics & Business or Social Sciences.
Once completing the program students will have a smooth transition to the university and will be able to adapt to the environment of a German university very well.
Second and third semester are focused on introducing you to you choosen spezialization. Depending on your choice, you will be learning the basics of Engineering, Economics & Business or Social Sciences; required
Additionally there are plenty of excursions which are an integral part of the program. These excursions allow students to visit architectural, technical and industrial sights as well as the potential universities in Germany for getting an idea about their preferred universities and respective courses.

03 PROGRAM START DATES The international undergraduate study preparation program requires three semesters of full time study including German language fluency. Each semester covers four months.
If you already hold German language competency your study schedule will be adjusted to your language skills. The teaching level of German will depend on your starting level and individual progress.
The program beginning on March 5, 2018 will be completed by June 2019 for the university intake in autumn 2019. Semester

04 PROGRAM FEES If you join the program in spring 2018 and your respected studies include one term in 2019, the pricing will be according to terms of 2018. Fees will be charged in total as lump sum payment. Fee Semester 1:

14,690.00 € Each semester fee includes participation in semester assessments, final examination and language certificate. Joining the program before the beginning of the second semester demands the participation in a German language placement test requiring at least level B1 of German.
Please note that accommodation/ housing, transportation and insurance cost are an elementary part of your blocked account each student has to have available apart from above mentioned fee when she/ he applies for the student visa to Germany. For the year 2017 / 2018 the amount required by the Immigration Authorities of Germany for a blocked account is 8,640.00 (720.00 EUR/ month)
05 AFTER BERLIN FRESHMAN YEAR After graduating successfully from BFY students can choose and study free of cost (only private universities charge tuition fees monthly or by semester) from a wide variety of Engineering, Management, Business, Media and Social Science related programs in one
of our partner universities or in external university but only after passing the Feststellungspruefung which is an external university assessment exam. After completing Bachelor studies a student can enrol in a Master’s program or directly apply for job.
