Construct, Inc

Founded in 1969, Construct is the leading nonprofit provider of affordable housing and support services to residents in fifteen towns across the southern Berkshires. Construct is committed to providing affordable housing to strengthen and diversify communities, stabilize lives and empower individuals to build a better future. To date, Construct has purchased, rehabilitated and built, as well as continues to provide, over 80 permanent, affordable housing options in southern Berkshire County, plus ten transitional housing units for individuals coming out of homelessness. Each year they meet the needs of over 600+ families. They also offer emergency housing assistance in times of crisis when other options are not available. When other options are available, Construct helps their neighbors navigate the process to get the resourc- es they need. This is the second year in a row that Construct has been voted the BEST COMMUNITY SERVICE ORGANIZATION in South County!
