Get ready for a new competition coming up from Microsoft and New Era this term! It’s time to bring the past to life with Minecraft. We want your students to take us on an adventure into the history of New Zealand using blocks to tell the story. Students can enter together or individually to win. There will be prizes, including Microsoft and Minecraft gear and an awesome experience for the winning entry. We’ll be in touch with more details soon. It’s going to be a blast!

Welcoming Platinum Clients to the New Era Family
In our 2016 Term 4 issue, New Era welcomed nine large secondary schools who have joined the New Era client family as new or upgraded Platinum Agreement schools.
Platinum is New Era’s premier support tier and includes:
Platinum: Full New Era support with one full-time on-site technician. Platinum Plus: As above with two full-time on-site technicians. Ultra: All projects, network changes and implementation included. Platinum Plus Cloud: Platinum cover including cloud hosted servers.
New Platinum Agreement Upgrades starting in 2017 include:

New Era was tasked with the technology infrastructure build for two new schools as a result of successful tenders in 2016. Opening in 2017, Rolleston College and Ormiston Junior High School are the first new school builds that New Era has undertaken and were both exciting projects for the team. We wish both school communities every success as they embark on an exciting new journey.
