Summerwood Home Sales on Track for Record-Setting 2013 Yes, there are still new homes and home sites available at Overland Park’s Summerwood lifestyle community. But if the pace of sales starting 2013 is any indication, there may not be for long. “We’ve had a lot of activity,” says Michelle Capek, Weichert Realty’s Community Manager for Summerwood. “Currently we’re selling more than one home per week and leading in new home sales in the Blue Valley school district.” At press time, some of Summerwood’s newest home sites and a few Rodrock Ready homes are still available. Developer and builder Tom French, a pioneer in developing maintenance-provided communities, is offering an array of beautiful homes in six maintenance-provided communities throughout Johnson County with prices that range from the low-$200,000s to $700,000.
