The Rio Grande Valley Builders Association Hosts Its Annual Fishing Tournament on South Padre Island

The Rio Grande Valley Builders Association hosted its annual Fishing Tournament on South Padre Island on Saturday, June 22nd. The weather provided an excellent day for fun and fishing. Builder and Associate members enjoyed this entertaining fishing competition with friends and family at Jim’s Pier on South Padre Island, and attendees won many door prizes and lots of cash prizes—and, a few lucky fishermen and fisherwomen came away with the coveted fishing prizes.

Cash prizes were awarded to the first and second place winners in various fishing categories (see below). The RGVBA thanks all of the participants, sponsors, and especially Paco Vielma, chair of this year’s fishing event. We all certainly look forward to next year’s fishing tournament!
