Developer Update Newsletter
With pumpkins and mums filling up porches as the weather (finally!) starts to cool down, it’s no surprise that fall is one of our favorite seasons at Wendell Falls! There is a lot of activity happening around the community, which we are excited to share with you in this newsletter.
So far in 2024, there have been over 275 new home sales and 200 families have moved into their new Wendell Falls home*. If you are a new resident, we welcome you to the community and hope to see you around the Farmhouse!

Construction Updates

Construction activities are well underway within the Flex phase, which will provide an additional 169 homesites for both single-family and townhomes. Utility installation is ongoing, and paving is expected to be completed in December of this year. These homesites are anticipated to be delivered to homebuilders in early 2025. Design and planning is ongoing for Phase 10A (121 homesites) with construction slated to begin by early 2025.
We are working hard behind the scenes to bring additional amenities to Wendell Falls, adding even more to our extensive offerings. Additional open space was recently added in Phase 11A , and the Phase 11B amenity is expected to begin later this year. The final designs are being approved for a park within the Flex phase, and construction is expected to commence mid-2025. These gathering spaces will feature a variety of landscaped paths, play equipment and recreational programming to encourage active and passive play. Stay tuned for more information and anticipated opening dates!
Construction activities have commenced for the Abode Communities project along Wendell Valley Blvd. and Knightdale-Eagle Rock Rd. The first phase of the project is expected to be completed by late 2025. A phase map is included in this newsletter for your convenience.

It’s no secret that Wendell Falls has some of the best sunsets around, but did you know that these hues get more vivid in fall? The dry, cooler air of this season allows more colors of the spectrum to come through without being scattered by particles in the air.
