Fireside Chat with Author John Sandford

Adults Zoom Meeting (Live) Wednesday, April 14, 7–8 pm The Library has teamed up with over 70 RAILS libraries to bring you a fantastic virtual program with John Sandford, just in time for his new book, Ocean Prey! Fan-favorite heroes Lucas Davenport and Virgil Flowers join forces when the killings of three federal officers at sea ignite an investigation into a maritime drug cartel—with deadly consequences. John Sandford is the pseudonym for the Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist John Camp. He is the author of 29 Prey novels; 4 Kidd novels; 12 Virgil Flowers novels; 3 YA novels coauthored with his wife, Michele Cook; and 3 other books.

Let’s celebrate National Poetry Month together! The Library will be hosting a month-long poetry contest to highlight your creativity. All poems will be published in our annual poetry and art journal, Indeliable. Prizes will be awarded to the top poems in each of the following age categories: Grades 7–9, Grades 10–12, and Adult.

Storytimes Storytimes can be viewed on a PC, Mac, smartphone, or tablet using the Zoom app. Families are encouraged to check in to storytime early. To help stay secure, do not share login information with others. Instead, direct them to https://newlenox.librarymarket.com/ for registration. Your storytime host will let you in from the “waiting room.” Zoom information will be emailed 30 minutes before class.
