July & August have been extremely difficult months for those who live & work in the areas that ASCF’s ministry reaches. Several children were affected by Dengue Fever, needing to be hospitalised & sadly Craig & Crist two children died due to complications ine B urrow surrounding the disease. August brought heavy s rainfall; more than half the amount of rain usually seen in August & streets were literally underwater. Local rescue teams were able to use boats to get to stranded people. Two of ASCF’s schools became evacuation centres for hundreds of people who were forced from their homes.
