Introducing the spring UK tour 2025
The ‘Waltz King’ of Europe is returning to the UK with his Johann Strauss Orchestra to perform in spring 2025 at the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool, the Co-op Live Arena in Manchester, and the OVO Hydro Arena in Glasgow.
Acknowledged as one of the world’s greatest living musical legends, Dutch-born André Rieu was classically trained and is now an accomplished violinist, an excellent conductor and a truly great showman. With his orchestra, choir and soloists, he brings a delightful and innovative approach to his concerts, recreating the atmosphere of 19th-century Viennese Dance Halls. Rapt audiences sway with the music, hum along and even dance in the aisles – it all happens! During the concert, you’ll hear music from across André’s repertoire, and it will be a wonderful not-to-be-missed experience.

Day Three – Included visit to Bury and lunch aboard the East Lancashire Steam Railway After breakfast, travel to the pretty market town of Bury, home to the Bury Transport Museum and the Bury Bolton Street heritage railway station. A special freshly-prepared lunch of two meals followed by coffee and after-dinner chocolate will then be served aboard one of the vintage Pullman-style carriages while you travel through the scenic Irwell Valley. Return to the hotel this afternoon and take advantage of free time to see the city’s landmarks. Day Four – Optional visit to the authentic Coronation Street Experience and return home Following breakfast, you’ll be free to make your way home or join an optional excursion to The Coronation Street Experience. Day Three – Included tour of Callander, Trossachs National Park, and Loch Katrine After breakfast, travel to picturesque Callander, known as the ‘Gateway to the Highlands’, in the heart of the enchanting Trossachs National Park. Here, you’ll have time to explore the charming town and find lunch (on your own account). Continue onto Loch Katrine where you’ll board the historic steamship, Sir Water Scott, for a scenic two-hour cruise. On board, there is a licensed bar and tea, coffee, and snacks. Enjoy panoramic views of the whole loch as you listen to the history of the area. Back on land, the tour will return to the hotel for the evening.
