As dusk falls, you’ll dock at pretty ports and venture ashore to candle-lit quayside tavernas, whitewashed and waiting for you to dine on local delicacies under the stars. Sail towards the first island of your itinerary, beautiful Ithaca, famed as the homeland of Odysseus (Ulysses), the hero of the Homeric poem Odyssey. Next up is Meganisi, known for its sea caves, which were used to hide submarines during World War II, the island of Lefkada, which means ‘white’, referring to its famous white cliffs, Fiskardo, a historic harbour village on the northern tip of Kefalonia, surrounded by verdant hills and rows of olive trees, and Agia Effimia, a coastal village on the east coast of Kefalonia.

Please note: The MS Hemera offers simple cruising and passengers should be aware that the emphasis aboard is on enjoying stunning surroundings in the company of a few like-minded, new found friends. Do not expect a full range of modern comforts, but instead enjoy the chance to be ‘Wi-Fi-free’ while aboard. At the captain’s discretion it may be necessary to alter the order of the itinerary on your holiday. Passages will always be made under motor engine. Luggage is reduced to 15kg in a soft bag due to limited space on board. The transfer time from the airport to Zante is approximately 15 minutes *Your flight arrival time will determine how much time you have in Zante Town prior to boarding MS Hemera. From 2023 local taxes will be charged per person and payable locally.

MS Hemera A traditional wooden-gulet motor vessel, encompassing eight compact cabins, which can accommodate up to 16 guests. Cabins are simple in design, cosy, and comfortable. Each cabin features a small double bed, hairdryer, fan, very limited storage, and a compact private bathroom with a shower unit. The expansive sundeck is a highlight, and communal areas include a lounge, a dining area and a bar.
