Weigh small samples and save costs

Mettler Toledo’s innovative Excellence XPR MicroAnalytical balances simplify sample handling and allow one to weigh very small sample quantities directly into large tare containers with a high degree of accuracy. This ensures the efficient use of valuable samples, using an USP minimum weight of 1.4mg and minimises sample waste.

Less sample transfer

Dosing directly into a tare container avoids the tedious back-weighing and recalculation processes associated with sample transfer, for example, using weighing paper.

Fast and stable results

The SmartGrid weighing pan significantly reduces any air turbulence on the weighing cell. Stabilisation time is shorter and results are faster, which is beneficial when working in a fume cupboard.

Detect electrostatic charges

For very small samples, electrostatic charging can significantly influence the recorded weight value. StaticDetect technology automatically detects static charges on samples and containers and provides a warning if the measured error exceeds predefined tolerances.
