Get quality results with GMP
Mettler Toledo’s Good Measuring Practices (GMP), is a global program to support laboratory and production environments with quality assurance measures for weighing, titration, thermal analysis and pipetting applications, as well as for determining density index, refractive index, UV/VIS colour measurements, pH and conductivity values, and melting, dropping/softening point analysis.
The GMP program comprises five steps to ensure optimal performance of laboratory equipment and devices:
1.Evaluation - Evaluation of the measuring needs of your processes and their associated risks, including regulatory requirements and norms relevant to your industry
2. Selection - Choosing the correct analytical system for laboratory workflows
3. Installation - Correct installation and training is crucial to guarantee accurate and reliable results from the start
4. Qualification - Professionally executed equipment qualifications ensure conformity and establish accurate results
5. Routine operation - Well-trained users and regularly maintained equipment reduce the risk of measurement errors and will ensure that your instrument is running at optimal performance
