Festool's customer exhibition experience
The latest brand to be showcased at the new Vermont Sales exhibition centre was its Festool range of products. With its eye-catching branding, signage and POP, the centre became a model showroom for the brand.
The complete range of Festool products were on display including all accessories, upgraded products and a vast range of new products seen for the first time in the country.
“This was the coolest Festool show and display that I have attended to date, we had all the time in the world to touch, feel and test the products, plus were able to view the demonstrations,” said a Festool retailer. “We had a dedicated sales expert with us the entire time introducing us to all the new products and features. It was one of the most impressive shows we have attended matching anything internationally,” said the customer.
In addition to the hands on experience, customers were also introduced to the unique, technically advanced accessories which attracted great interest.
“Highlights of the exhibition were the new impressive Systainers, the upgraded batteries and charger options, the all new Planex long reach sander packages, new edge sander and the full array of dust extractors,” said Costa Stavrakis, brand manager for Festool in South Africa.
“Many other unique products were demonstrated including the Festool SawStop TKS 80 EBS series - the world’s latest, safest table saw along with the new Cordless Duradrive DWC series, specifically designed automatic screwdrivers for specialist drywall construction. Also on show was the KA 65 set Conturo technically advanced edge bander for professional edging and gluing and the professional edge sander. In addition, the Kapex KS 60 and KS 120 Sliding Compound Mitre Saw units, the latest generation TS 55 F plunge-cut saw and the new cordless TSC 55 K,” said Stavrakis.
