DISCHEM OFFERS A WHOLESALE HYGIENE SOLUTION FOR BUSINESSES RESTARTING OPERATIONS
Dis-Chem is offering a wholesale solution for products and services requirements for large and small businesses to ensure their workplaces are equipped and ready to resume operations post-lockdown.
This includes products such as contactless infrared thermometers, face visors, alcohol wipes, face masks, soap, alcohol-based hand rubs containing at least 70 percent alcohol, disinfectants, foot pump sanitiser dispensing units and disposable towels for workers to clean hands and work surfaces. This offering also extends to bulk COVID-19 swab testing, either at its drive through centres or at corporate sites.
COVID-19 IN THE WORKPLACE
“With the easing of lockdown restrictions, more industries will start to operate and be subject to strict requirements. Current risk assessments protocols will need to be reviewed and updated, considering the potential exposure to COVID-19 in the workplace,” says Craig Fairweather, commercial director at Dis-Chem.
“For most companies, navigating these requirements can be complex and demanding, and as it’s not their core business, there is not an inherent understanding of the requirements or protocols,” Fairweather says. He adds that this is also an ideal solution for schools to ensure that all necessary precautions have been undertaken to provide peace-of-mind for teachers, learners and parents as schools plan for re-opening.
Thanks to its national footprint and distribution network, the logistics for this service fall easily within Dis-Chem’s current supply chain and distribution capabilities.
