Labotec’s rich and long history in the sales and distribution of renowned laboratory equipment in southern Africa is complementary to Batswadi’s impressive history in bringing cutting edge technologies and innovations to the African market.

The integration of Labotec with Batswadi began in July 2018, by enhancing the already strong Labotec leadership team with a truly diverse and world class board of directors. Batswadi, with its international funding partner embarked on a journey guiding Labotec towards local and international laboratory science leadership. This journey has been made possible by its footprint in the US and sub-Saharan Africa.

The two businesses now utilise their strengths, experience, partners, customer base and networks synergistically, to bring class leading products and services to the scientific analytical and medical industries in Africa.
