REMOTE EVENT: Paint Your Pet
Are you looking to immortalize your furry friend through acrylic and canvas? If so, this Paint Your Pet event hosted by New York City Pet Portrait Fun artist Michele Cahill is perfect. Learn how to paint a pet portrait with watercolor. At this event you will learn the fundamentals of creating a pet portrait from a photo of your pet virtually from home. Join via Zoom or Facebook LIVE and get creative! Michele will show you the tricks and tips of painting your pet. In this workshop, you will explore the joy and challenge of how to use watercolors to make your pet jump off the page. The group will use a variety of techniques like using layers to build up contrast and learn how to paint your happy pup or kitty. Not an experienced painter? No worries! You will be guided step by step so you can complete your masterpiece! When you purchase an admission ticket you receive: • an artist rendered line drawing of your pet for you to print out to trace • Art Supply list of what you will need to complete your painting • Instructions on how to trace your line drawing prior to the event. • A link to our private Zoom meeting the day before the event. • 1.5 hours Live Painting session with the Artist who will give you visual instructions and help you step by step as you paint your pet portrait • Special links to videos with hacks to complete your pet portrait including customized step by step color mixing tips for pet’s fur and details.
