After police vehicles blocked any potential exits, Williams mounted the gutter in an attempt to flee the scene, colliding with two police cars, and crashing into fencing.
The hospital’s auxiliary extends their thanks to the ladies of Port Stephens for
August 17.
Williams was sentenced to four-years imprisonment with a non-parole period of two years.

On the afternoon of Wednesday 22 June, following numerous offences already committed, Williams engaged in a police pursuit in Heatherbrae where the stolen Porsche he was driving mounted the kerb and accelerated off at 140 kilometres per hour in the 70 kilometre speed zone to evade police.
He was arrested by police who found cannabis in the console of the car and later admitted to the police he was smoking cannabis through a bong during the police pursuit.
After traffic blocked his path, he turned into the Bunnings Heatherbrae car park where he drove in a reckless manner attempting to outrun police.
