Our amazing cover story featuring Delphine Dholah took us night scouting around Port-Louis and we landed in Caudan Waterfront till way past bed time. abriela Cerna works is a part-time international and professional model. At 29 years old, she has worked in several countries such as Belgium, Greece or even Europe! She signed her first modeling contract at the age of 19 for a company in Istanbul. She has since “delved into an adventure full of glamour and shine.� However, Gabriela is a very deeply-rooted person. She is first a psychologist before being a model. She devotes a lot of time providing guidance to those who are in need of overcoming past issues. By working closely with the body, I help people concentrate on how they feel and thus help them be at peace with themselves, she explains

elphine Dholah in seven words: young & dynamic woman aged 25 years! Always eager to learn, Delphine is always searching for new experiences and discoveries. Passionate about fashion, she keeps an eye on the evolution of this world and always finds a way to contribute to the development & professionalism of this industry in Mauritius. Being the executive Manager of Gold Models is in fact one of her greatest achievement for now because through her responsibilities, she is constantly in touch with the development of the Fashion industry in the island.
In addition to the Fashion industry, Delphine has a crush for the travel industry. “What I like the most about travel is the exchange that occurs in the whole travel process, discovering new features of the world, experiencing new countries, their culture, food but more importantly the people that we meet.” In fact one of her biggest dreams is to travel around the world, create endless memories and enrich herself by the people she will meet through the course of her life! Being fond of travel, Delphine did studies related to this industry and is a holder of a degree in Tourism, Hospitality & Travel Management. Degree that will inevitably help her to attain her professional goals! “I might be working and loving to work in the Fashion industry, however my professional goal is to evolve in the travel sector.” Delphine is someone who constantly seeks to discover new experiences. Amongst those, she trained at Baraka Cirque as an Aerialist. We quote: “Aerial art is such an amazing discipline. Before you start, you question a lot about yourself. After trying hard, you get amazed by what your body & mind is capable of. Honestly, it’s a great feeling that I wish everyone should feel in their life!” Past the trial of Aerial arts, Delphine tested and adopted the “ink fever.” She counts today 7 tattoos that have been specially chosen and created by her. “My tattoos are very personal, which is why most of them are hidden.” In addition to these, Delphine is someone who loves thrills and gets amazed by many simple things. She describes herself sometimes as a bit of a feminist but in the end she is someone who can easily understand people and help whenever she gets the opportunity to do so. The proof that age doesn’t define someone is definitely something Delphine embodies. Everything she has done for 25 years proves that everyone can succeed & achieve many things as long as we remain always focused keep a professional attitude.

erene, charming but straightforward, this is how Olesya is. We were a bit worried that she will play with words, because that is her forte, but her pleasant attitude and personality made it very easy for us. 20 years spent helping people sorting out their lives, Olesya carries on dedicating herself to spirituality. She admits that she is not the first one from her family, but the fifth generation who vows to explore the hidden aspect of supernatural powers, hence, all this is gifted to her. Blessed with the ability to foresee and warn people, she agrees that it becomes a responsibility that the person fully trusts her for her to be able to open up.

lizabeth Grant from Preston was scouted to enter Miss England last year when she had finished a night shift working as a local bartender. On Thursday 21st July 2016, Elizabeth Grant was crowned Miss England at the Southport Theatre and Convention Centre Floral Hall representing Preston. Elizabeth is 20 years of age & lives in Preston and is an Pyschology student at Liverpool Hope University. Since winning the national titles, she has travelled extensively representing England at Miss World events whilst still managing to hold down her job on a part time basis. We joined the Miss England Team for a photoshoot while they were enjoying a luxury break in Mauritius at the Radisson Blu Azuri Resort & Spa. She and the Miss England team have been treated like royalty since arriving on the island. A special spa treatment followed the Air Mauritius flight and the party have been amazed by the wonderful Mauritian hospitality. Whilst at the Radisson Blu Azuri, the group have enjoyed scuba diving, fishing and sunbathing on the idyllic beaches, finding some down time to spend with their partners.

escribed as a caring and friendly person, Claudia Morris is an inspiration to many. Her dedicated lifestyle to fitness is stranger to none, locally and internationally. Claudia spent some time with us and explained how she would like to help each and every Mauritian concentrate on their health first, thus looking fit. Two hours on an average spent in the gym helped her win an award as a fitness model on the international platform. Is it her only secret? Not really! She agrees that
her newly established food company called the 4everfit Healthy Food motivates her on a daily basis to achieve higher and push herself forward. With over 6 companies which hired her as a brand ambassador, Claudia isn’t going to stop mid-way, she says. Well, isn’t she the personification of ‘’A little progress each day, adds up to great results!’’ Way to go Claudia!
