Then they must wake up to reality. The reality is that chiropractors need to attract new patients and many more of them. Time to act is now. Many chiropractors have relied on referals from existing patients. Some are in network and have patients directed to them from the insurance companies. There will be increased resistence from patients who find themselves paying more and more. There will be patients who forgo needed care because of the higher costs. I am certain that this was not the intention of law makers but it will happen. There are still many patients out there searching for chiropractic care.
